The others were fooled by Mr. Lawrence’s gimmicks but of course, she knew much more than that. She hadn’t shed a tear in a very long time and even when she knew about Rose’s death, she didn't burst into tears.

But hearing the whole lies and misconceptions that Mr. Lawrence was saying about Rose - that was definitely over the boundaries. If her eyes could command fire, she could have burnt him down right there on the podium without thinking twice.

There were other ways that she could have caused some trouble but she did not create any commotion yet because she noticed that Mr. Lawrence had put certain personnel structures in place even before the date the memorial began. It was always going to be difficult to beat down those structures.

But how was she going to handle the situation? She decided not to make the situation too obvious. If she followed after Alan and the other man who she assumed to be his, there would be more eyes on them and then that wouldn't look so good.
