CHAPTER 182

Dilan turned his gaze toward the wall clock to ascertain properly the time.

Linda was frozen in indecision, her mind a mainstream of indecision as she was unable to answer any of the questions Dilan was asking.

She turned her gaze towards her husband, Dilan, and noticed that he was opening the curtains again and staring outside very intently. His face was filled with terror and Linda knew that there was so much trouble looming around for them.

She darted towards Dilan again and her persistence was a relentless tide of interrogation. “What exactly is outside that you are scared of? Who is waiting for us? Are you sure that we will be safe when we pack our luggage? You still haven’t told us where we are going?”

Dilan was standing just there at the entrance between his room and the sitting room. His gaze was a hesitant candle in the darkness. He wanted to speak but his voice was locked behind the gates of his nervousness.
