CHAPTER 59

“Alright, alright. You can have your way,” Mr. Lawrence raised his hand into the air, yielding to Alan’s demands.

Ms. Lee retreated with a deadly air of resignation as she flared her nostrils disappointedly.

Alan heaved a sigh of relief as Mr. Lawrence’s response got to his ears.

“Very good!” Alan said, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction. “I will have your pry bars and sledgehammers now.”

Mr. Lawrence surrendered his pry bars and sledge hammers to Alan.

Mr. Lawrence signaled that his people should pave the way for Alan to pass through.

Alan’s agent, Shlupp picked up their sledgehammer, prybars, and saws, and together with Alan, they started hitting the elevator walls.

This time, getting into the elevator cargo wasn't going to be as difficult as before because the barricade was already almost broken down by Mr. Lawrence.
