"Hmm, boss lady is a strong name, just call me Sophie," she replied, her eyes sparkling.

Ethan laughed and said, "So, Sophie..." He leaned in, capturing her lips with his own. "You really amazed me. Now, tell me, why did you give the officer money? Was that needed?"

Sophia smiled mischievously. "That was just a trick."

"A trick? What trick?" Ethan inquired, his curiosity piqued.

Sophia chuckled. "Giving him that amount was to quickly buy him on my side. If not, he would have asked me to pick up the cash and hand it properly to the lady."

Ethan was stunned. "That was a smart move. No wonder you're a top businesswoman."

Sophia smiled, wrapping her arm around Ethan's waist. "Come on, you're tougher than me, you know."

Ethan grinned and whispered in her ear, "Let's just get home. There are a lot of surprises."

She chuckled, and together, they got into the car and drove off.
