At first, Ethan thought the elves were being greedy and protective of the Life Tree. He believed they didn't want to share with the dark elf race due to hatred, but the actual reason was different. Ethan and Xethros reached a special part of the Pit of Unforgiveness after walking past myriad strange creatures of different races. In this part of the Pit of Unforgiveness, there was no other race other than elves.Both the normal elf race and the dark elf race; actually, one can easily see the difference between the two races. Normal elves mostly have blonde and black hair with milky or pale skin, but the dark elf was different. They have long black or white hair; their skin was darker than the normal elves.They sat in their cells with anger blazing from their eyes whenever they saw Ethan and Xethros looking at them. What Ethan got from that dark elf was not just some senseless words that holds no meaning although some held no meaning at all but at a point during the little blabbering the dark elf senselessly gave both of them useful information that would help the elf race greatly. Xethros is a soldier, he understood those terms and Ethan who wasn't from the elf world understood the strange terms as well. Both of them after hearing it agreed to work together, they returned to the palace and Ethan was able to make the request for Xethros to become his aide. Elfina asked to be his aide, she wanted to be the one with Ethan since she is a fellow system user and her special powers might come in handie sometimes. Even the king declined her request, she is the princess and she is met to be protected in the Strong walls of the palace.
