I pulled my hand back after hearing Nakamori's explanation. It was true; the burn was slowly disappearing on its own, leaving a faded mark. I was dumbfounded to see that.

"What is the meaning of all this? Why are we feeling and seeing things that don't make sense?" I was confused.

Nakamori shook his head. "I don't know either. It all feels like an endless nightmare. But we have to keep trying to find a way out of here."

I nodded in agreement. "We have to stay calm and think clearly. Maybe there's a way to resolve this situation."

We sat side by side, trying to contemplate a solution to this mysterious situation. Moments later, Nakamori suddenly stood up and pointed at the wall next to us.

"Look! There's something over there!" he exclaimed.
