ENDING ON A SAD NOTE

The invigilator returned to the front of the hall and dropped what he carried beside his desk.

Alexander looked at the man with a confused grimace that was caused by how ridiculous he found the man’s antics.

Who in their right mind would go and carry a desk from the back of the hall by themselves and keep it next to their desk so they could keep an eye on someone?

“There you go. Sit down and get ready to start the exam”

Alexander groaned and then he did as told.

Once the young multimillionaire was sitting like he was supposed to, the invigilator smirked and then went to sit on his chair next to Alexander.

He checked the time on his wristwatch and when the time for the end of the current exam reached, he told the students to stop writing and submit their papers.

One by one, they all stood from their chairs and went to submit their papers on the invigilator’s desk while also carrying the envelope of the next exam that the man had brought out of his bag and kept on his desk for them.
