First of all, I’d like to apologize for the lack of chapters for the past month and two weeks. I won’t lie or make any excuse as to why that is and I’ll only tell the truth. The truth is I wasn’t making anything substantial from this book and it had been going on like that for a long time but seeing the views, although little, gave me motivation to keep writing. Two months before I stopped writing I saw that I barely got any views or promotion from the platform so I took a couple of days to rest and try and fall in love with the story again. A couple of days turned to weeks to months and you get the rest. During that time I went to find a job that’ll give me something to live by and I’m happy to say that I have and now I’ve fallen in love with the story again and would like to continue. I’ve already written a couple of chapters, about to finish the blackmail arc and start a new one. All that’s left is to go through everything I’ve written, edit, and start uploading. Upload starts

Alexander and Kevin walked down the corridor leading to the staircase and just as they were a few feet away from it, Alexander’s enhanced hearing kicked in.He began to hear the conversation being had between Chef Ronaldo and Janise downstairs.Alexander groaned at how personal the conversation seemed then not wanting to invade their privacy he decided to stop listening. He also wasn’t interested in the conversation as all he cared about was finishing his mission from the gods of vengeance and possession, so he decreased the range of his hearing to that of a normal person. He and Kevin got to the top of the stairs and he took his focus to the countdown timer again, this time having a foreboding feeling as they started walking down the stairs.‘Just one more thing to do and the mission is complete. Nothing stupid better happen in the last minute—‘ Alexander thought but was cut off by what he saw in the living room.He saw Chef Ronaldo on the floor and Janice pointing the gun at him.

Alexander knew that even if his hands were taped together behind his back, he had the joint flexibility to take his arms over his head and return them to his front then the strength to rip the tape apart in a fraction of a second.“No problem” Alexander shrugged then did what Kevin asked.Kevin went behind Alexander and taped his hands together.“Make sure it’s tight and he can’t get out of it.
