Inside one of the Coker Wake High School offices, the secretary who had transferred the call from her landline to the principal’s heard a very loud banging sound.

She grimaced and hurriedly looked at the closed principal’s office door.

“What was that?” She asked and then she heard the sound again.

“That sounded like someone slamming the headset of a landline on itself. That doesn’t make any sense because why on earth would Mr. Jonas do something like that?” She said, scratching the side of her head in confusion.

“I thought Mr. Jonas was on a call with a former student so what could have gotten him so angry that he decided to react in such a—?“ she asked herself but then jolted when she heard a different but just as alarming sound.

It was the sound of the principal sweeping the things off his desk and all of them falling on the floor.

“Just what the world is going on?!” The secretary said as she quickly stood up from her chair.
