Alexander’s and Francis’s conversation progressed smoothly.

“Glad to see that we’re on the same page. Anyway, my yearly salary working at the Del Monte Royale Casino is two hundred and fifty thousand dollars which means to have these two meatheads pardon you, you’re going to have to give me half a million dollars”

Immediately after hearing the amount, both Jeremiah and Trey’s eyes widened.

“What?!” Trey exclaimed.

“Sir, I don’t mean to question your intelligence but do you seriously think that such a young fellow has that kind of money to give out?! I know you said he gave you ten thousand dollars but you’re asking for fifty times that amount here!” Jeremiah said.

Smiling confidently, Francis looked at the bouncer and asked “Do you think it’s an absurd amount?”

“Pardon me for saying this, sir, but absolutely yes! That’s half a million dollars we’re talking about here! Not many people can go around giving an amount like that on a whim”

Francis raised a brow.

“A whim? Don’t be stupid.
