GATEKEEPER

Scholar Academy was a school surrounded by a gated fence. The fence was built from bricks and the gate was a massive black cast iron ninety-degree inward swing gate that prevented any form of unauthorized access into the school.

Unauthorized access also included visual access.

This meant that it was more of a metallic door than anything else and there was no space, minus the joints where the edge of the gate and fence met, for someone to see inside the school.

The gate was also tens of meters away from the school building and Alexander parked in front of it and honked his horn.

If the gatekeeper wasn’t aware of his awareness before, he surely was now.

A couple of seconds later and Alexander heard the personnel part of the gate, which is the side meant for people to walk through, get unlocked, and then he saw the gatekeeper come out.
