GLUE AND FLIPFLOP

Once things with the system were ready, Alexander focused on the two ladies.

“It’s strange you had something like that on you when coming to a wedding but I guess it was for the best because it’s coming in handy now,” Grave said, sighing in relief.

She knew she couldn’t walk long distances or else risk the heel giving out, so she either had to stand still and wait for Alexander to go get the glue and return with it or she’d have to take off her shoe and walk barefoot which would be embarrassing.

“So, where is the glue?” Laurel asked, just like Grace thiking that the gorilla glue was on Alexander.

“It’s in my room. I’ll just go get it and return quickly.” Alexander said, disappointing both ladies who then thought that that made more sense.

He was about to leave but then Laurel interrupted.

“I think I should go with you,” she said and Alexander looked at her with a face that asked her why she wanted to do that.
