Alexander went downstairs and then greeted Tessa when he got to the receptionist station.

Though she didn’t mean to, he could see the look in her eyes, wondering if what he wore was something new or an incomplete part of the same outfit she had seen him wear twice in the space of twenty-four hours.

He chuckled lightly because he had a suspicion that something like that would happen, but the issue blew over just as quickly as it began because Tessa minded her business and didn’t ask any questions.

She knew for a fact that he was super rich, so repeating one outfit multiple times could have been the result of personal reasons and the reason she thought of was that he didn’t have enough clothes at the moment.

After all, she had been the one to book him in and he had come empty-handed. He didn’t even have a debit card when she met him, so she believed that something must have happened that forced him to come to book a room in a hotel for multiple days without a proper change of clothes.
