Alexander looked at the message from the system and was immediately angered by it.

‘Who cares about something stupid as that?! An innocent kid just fell to what could positivity be his death and this is the nonsense you think I want to read right now?!’ He yelled at the system in his mind.

Unfortunately, the system wasn’t a human, and neither did it have compassion to care about what he was yelling about. After all, the mission was to take care of the people involved in Blessing’s kidnapping and it didn’t matter if the other kidnapped victims were hurt or not.

In fact, Alexander didn’t even know if the system would have punished him if Blessing had been the one who fell out the window to her possible demise.

It was never once stated that his success in the mission was on the condition that the girl was safe and thinking back to it, the mission was given by the god of Vengeance, who, by its name wanted to see pain and destruction, so saving someone wasn’t really what it was known for.
