[ CONGRATULATIONS! You have awakened ancient Scriber, XULIAN.]

[ DAY TILL ACTIVE, 1 ]

[ HOST'S CATEGORY, FANTASY SECT ]

[ FANTASY ART TIER IS 1 ]

[ PLEASE RELAX, XULIAN IS REGENERATING ]

[ ... ]

'What the hell is Julian?' Jamie who had just got over the shock, wondered before the voice repeated more sternly.

[ PLEASE RELAX, XULIAN IS REGENERATING ]

'What's wrong with my head?' Jamie continued to wonder. He still couldn't comprehend anything, everything was pitch black. Except for the feminine voice, this world was a total cell.

'I did, did, did... I did die?' Jamie Mac breathed slowly relaxing his mind as a booting icon reflected itself in the darkness just where he could see the panel. 'What is booting?'

He asked himself again and again narrowing his eyes in the darkness. Nothing made sense until the voice came back.

[ PLEASE RELAX, XULIAN IS REGENERATING ]

'Julian?'

[ XULIAN, HER NAME IS XULIAN, DUMB-ASS ]

'Oh my, did it answer me?'

[ I DID. PLEASE RELAX, XULIAN IS REGENERATING ]

'What are you? Am I dead?'

[ YOU ARE PRETTY ALIVE, PLEASE RELAX, XULIAN IS REGENERATING ]

This thing was beginning to annoy him. Although he was lost in his world, with a weirdo typo thing like Siri keeping him company, he finally gathered enough courage to show who was the boss here.

'Hi, who are you? Hey Julian! Am talking to you.!'

He shouted out the last part, but his voice was only in his head.

'So you invade me and try to act rude! Are you a parasite? Julian! Julian dumbass!'

[I regret choosing you now. And it's Xulian not Julian, pronounce it like Zhulian... And you are the dumb-ass ]

'Ok. Zhulian, what the heck are you!'

[ PLEASE RELAX, XULIAN IS REGEN....]

'Shut up! What are you doing to me? Get out of my head!'

This being was a first-class annoyance! It dared invade his privacy and still pile up the audacity to yell back with an insult.

[ Mac! You're just another piece of shit ]

'Don't you dare! What kind of parasite are you!'

[ IM ONE OF THOSE SENT TO WIPE YOUR BUTTOCKS. NOW RELAX! ]

Whatever, or whoever was talking must be a shameless being. Jamie screamed curses in his head, calling out for the parasite daring it to show itself until the booting system that had just been activated got terminated.

[ What are you doing? STOP THAT! ]

The disturbance caused by Jamie proved active until the voice confessed.

[ I'm just a tech work created to let humans possess godly powers ]

"HAHAHA!" Jamie laughed out loud as he saw the window panel shutting down.

'Goodbye, parasite.'

His last words drifted with the dark as a faint light started growing in the darkness.

[ Jamie Mac? ]

Jamie smiled as he heard the sympathetic voice of the unknown begging him to come back. He could still hear it calling out for him.

"Jamie... "

His eyes opened and his grandmother was there, whispering his name fervently, not giving up even a bit.

"Nanny? " Jamie smiled as he realized how much his grandmother cared for him. It seemed like a whole lifetime away from this world, the place was white, and it looked like a hospital.

"You are finally up." His grandmother broadened her smile as loads of fruits, and grapes, were shoved into his mouth. "Eat my dear, you haven't eaten for 6 days. "

"Today is Saturday!" Jamie couldn't believe that such a short period was a whole week in the real world. The shock was enough to send him back to where he had just come from as a doctor rushed in at the moment to warn the old lady not to inform the patient about anything that had passed during his coma.

*****

"My son, Meet your older sister Elein and your cousin Jake." Onesimus came into Jamie's room as usual, without notification accompanied by a tall slender lady with grey hair followed closely behind by a plumb boy, his age by approximation might have been twelve or so.

"Sister?" Jamie asked as the two visitors stood by the door, they also looked shocked getting introduced to him. He knew he was dreaming again, but this time, he relaxed his mind and let the flow of events sail by.

"Yes, she is your sister, she lives in the North with your aunt, I'm sorry I never told you anything." Onesimus apologized as Elein's eyes condensed in tears before she made the first approach and hugged Jamie who was still dumbfounded.

"I missed you... How have you been?" Elein cried out trying hard to pull back the tears that cascaded down her cheeks. She had thought she will never have the chance to meet her brother again in life, but now she knew she would protect him forever.

"Jamie, you won a scholarship. You will join the Script Circle this Monday, Elein and Jake will accompany you back to the North." Onesimus announced the good news, this year only twenty students from the south had won a chance to travel into the North, and Jamie was the last and lucky one.

"But I don't have any magic. How would I live?" Jamie who saw the look on Elein knew what his father meant, that Elein was going to be his protector. But the idea of having his sister around him all day, and disturbing her life by making her a bodyguard didn't please him.

"Can't we sell the scholarship? Dad, it's worth a million!" Jamie continued after the silence in the room. Jake had not even uttered a word other than ' a nice to know you, Mac,' but at this moment he flinch and moved like a flash around the room before settling next to him on the bed.

"Don't mind about us. It's going to be fun with you around." His voice was now way older than his look, just how old could he be? Looking keenly at Jake's round face, some threads were visibly growing on his chin!

"The Script Circle is protected by magic, my son, u will be safe." Onesimus supported Jake and soon Mac was convinced that all that the South talked about, wars in the North, beasts in the North was all lore. The North was a beautiful place to live.

There was a lot Jamie merely remembered, from the day of his mother's death to the day he failed to awaken in the great hall of heroes. Elein was all but generous to spend time reminding him that he had to leave for the South after failing the mage test fifteen years ago.

In the North, East, and West, Every mage awakened at the age of 4-5 years. But poor Mac had never awakened, something that had led to their family being disgraced and dismissed as an honourable family. Onesimus had to hide his powers for more than 17 years in the south just to bring up his son, for his wife, Mac's mother, the soldiers from the west had sent an arrow straight through her heart in war just weeks after Mac's failed awakening period.

Soon, the introductions were over and Mac was all but ready to leave early the following day, it was going to be a whole adventurous ride from the South to The Script Circle until a familiar voice broke through in his head.

[ SHAME ON YOU! ]

"Hey!"

Jamie almost jumped off the bed at the sound of the parasite, well, to him it was a parasite.

"What's wrong... Jamie?" Elein could sense the unfamiliarity in Jamie's voice as he begged for privacy.

"Are you ok?" Elein went ahead to feel his pulse and temperature before agreeing that nothing was wrong with him. "I will be back after the guests leave." She promised before closing the door behind her back.

'Why did you say so?' Jamie shut his eyes and thought why. He could not have remembered how he had encountered this parasite if not for Elein reminding him about the awakening day.

'I remember now!' Jamie smiled as he pressed his eyelid tighter drawing himself into the darkness that was now so customary and saw himself the day they had been cast out as muggles.

[ YOU STILL PASSED YOUR TEST ] The voice resonated.

[ CONGRATULATIONS, YOU HAVE ACHIEVED SECOND TIER IN FANTASY ARTS ]

[ BOOTING IS COMPLETE ]

[ HOST IS READY FOR PUNISHMENT ]

The last sentence shook Jamie out of his mental state, 'Wait, what! I'm not the host, right?'

There was no way he had accepted punishment, he had not pleaded guilty of anything.

[ You remembered the day you accepted me ]

The feminine voice was low with a glint of joy in its tone. It seemed like it was time for revenge as Mac remembered what he had accepted 16 years ago.

  • Exiled From The Heavens, ARYJIA   Prologue

Another Angel has fallen! 10,000 years after Iblis' rebellion against the highest order of the gods. A prophecy was foreseen, that a sect of mortal beings will achieve eternity by unholy means and defeat both the dark and holy deities in pursuit of universal parallelism. This was against all gods' and deities' wishes. If at any point the humans who were gods' creation, achieved the so-called divinity and managed to transcend to the higher dimensions, the equivalent of the ethereal realm may break and lead to the apocalypse prematurity. This will cause the highest God's apocalyptic reign to affect the heavens too. A disaster that will wipe out both mortals and immortals. A set of rules was set by the gods under the mountain of Olympus, and a monument was erected with the power of a macrocosm to ensure the balance between the heavens and earth. This had laid peace for over a thousand years before the heavens were suddenly attacked by the watchers who had emerged on the earth. The
