Chapter 18: Helplessly

There are lots of turn in the street I have no idea where Chiwa go. I pause and turned my head left and right. I lift my head and remember the time Kotori and Charlotte chased me.

Channeling my strength on my feet. I jump u the wall and used the pipe as a stepping stone to reach the rooftop. Having the high ground my vision widens. There were not lots of people strolling around.

Moving objects are easy to notice.

I run around leaping on the rooftop searching for Chiwa.

What am doing right? Chiwa might be his wife, but the abuse Chiwa experienced was wrong.

Based on what I heard earlier, Chiwa is being sold for money. That’s why she becomes that old man’s wife. I never thought that her life is this complicated.

If she is escaping there is only one place where she can go.

I immediately headed toward the dark alley manhole near the fountain. I flipped open the cover and go down.

In her workshop… That is the only place where she can hide.

My intuition is right on the money.
