10. Doing good and paying the price.

Ryan,who was standing in the monitoring room watching the screens, had no idea what just happened. The stranger knew him, but how? The stranger was giving him advice, and he didn't even remember the stranger's name. How did he get so much fame and he didn't even spend a week over here? He was totally clueless. Ryan had a question in his mind that how did the triceratops only run behind him and target him, but the stranger had already left the hall.

He didn't got a chance to ask him this question. He waited for a few minutes. He looked around the monitoring hall, then he stepped out, took a step outside the monitoring hall. The moment he took a step outside the monitoring hall, someone just dashed him. It was a she. She was almost going to fall on the floor, but he held her hand and pulled her up.

He was able to tell from her white shirt on her. she was a lab assistant, she had a frown on her face and she was running away. For some reason, she quickly held Ryan's hand, before Ryan could let her let go of his hand, she quickly held Ryan's hand. Pulled him towards a direction. Ryan didn't know what was going on with him. She shouted "there's a fire! Fire". He feared a little as he wasn't trained for such situations. Ryan wasn't trained for such situations. He was actually role playing a security guard. He didn't even get his first task and a major incident just happened.

After two minutes of running, He saw a room from where smoke was coming out. Many people were gathered in front of the room. no one there went inside the room to extinguish the fire.. There were fires extinguished besides the people standing, but no one wanted to go inside and risk their life. Ryan looked at the fire, he realised that the fire was still small and spreading at a high intensity. Ryan quickly took one fire extinguisher and went inside, started extinguishing the fire.

It was a matter of time before the fire was extinguished and Ryan left the room, left the lab. Everyone was watching him. He quickly wore his cap properly so that no one could see his face and walked. He didn't want this two minutes of fame. It was not going to be good in the future. It'll cost him for sure, surely.

After walking to a corner, he quickly hid behind the wall and peeped from one eye to see what was going on. They were waiting for someone. A moment later, The old man came. It was the same old man who kidnapped Ryan. Ryan gulped his saliva. He was indeed a little scared of that old man. He knew what kind of terrific strength the old man possessed.

The old man didn't go inside, he stood right in front of the room in the corridor and looked through the glass which was on the door. It was transparent. He could see the inside. There was a little smoke, but the fire was extinguished.

Ryan felt good that the old man didn't find him. He planned to go back to his prison cell. As there was no way out of his headquarters.

The old man who was standing quietly, suddenly looked to his right, in the same direction where Ryan was peeping from. Ryan hesitated a little but only one eye was open and can be visible to the old. Only one eye was in the open from that far. And he didn't believe that the old man had such a strong vision that from hundreds of metres away, he could see his small one eye.

For the next two seconds, everything changed. Before Ryan could say or even move his finger, something hit him on his head and he was thrown away onto the wall. He clashed to the wall behind. before even his feet could reach the floor, something held his neck. It was the old man's hand. The old man was standing in front of him holding his neck with one hand. His world had turned upside down in a second.

Ryan was completely shocked at the incredible speed and skills of the old man. He quickly tried to remove the old man's hand by using two of his hands. But it was worthless. The old man's strength was, was on a different league as if hundred elephants were standing and holding him. He could only watch the old man killing himself. He was an ant in front of the old man.

He couldn't do anything and, as a result, he let go of his hand and gave the liberty to the old man to do anything he wanted. He was completely lost once again in front of the old man. This was the second time. The first time was when he got kidnapped by the old man.

He was burning with the desire to get his life back from the old man. But he couldn't do it no matter what. But at the same time in his mind, his inner self was telling Ryan that he will be in the same situation ever again.

He's at a disadvantage. Ryan got to see his vision getting obstructed. He was not able to see things clearly. He was losing consciousness. Before he could do anything, Ryan lost his consciousness.

He didn't know what was going to happen after this. If it was his last time, if this was the last time he ever opened his eyes or not. The old man can kill him.

This life and death wasn't in his hands anymore. This is the first time he felt so lost in his life. He had 10 life's worth of savings in liquid but still it could not save his one life.
