6.The name Acronis shook the people!

Ryan was a little scared looking at the people around them sleeping. He knew the people sleeping won’t be calm after waking up. These people were not going to be calm as him, they will be scared and nervous and confused with weapons in their hands. These people were not prepared for this kind of situation. It was their first time getting kidnapped. Well, technically, it was the first time for Ryan too but he had faced a lot from his reincarnation experience and now all this looked small in his eyes. The capacity to take such surprises had increased by a huge extent. He was rather excited about something new. It was a new adventure for him. Anyone would be bored in one place for seven years? He was going to take it as a vacation.

He quickly went near a tree to climb the tree. He found the trees were gigantic. Even the grass was like wheat fields. There were many small branches by which he could climb the tree. Ryan climbed up the tree with the help of small branches. He sat on the tree and looked at the chit in his hand. The first rule suggests not killing humans. If he didn’t have to save himself from the humans then who was going to harm him?

The second rule said to survive till midnight. He wondered what was going to hurt or injure them. Absorbing the giant behaviour of the surroundings. Ryan thought about dog-size grasshoppers or kangaroo-size rabbits. Ryan was cool with both of them as they were not able to climb the tree and not touch him. The guns that were in his bag could easily pierce through the skin of the rabbit.

Ryan checked his bag again. Last time, it was just a glance; there were some food items and a pair of guns in the bag. He found water and a big knife. There was a rope in the bag and a pair of clothes too. He could just stay on the tree till midnight. No animal would be able to climb the tree due to its gigantic size. He took the knife and started cutting out the branches with the help of which he climbed the tree. Now, he was completely safe from danger. He didn’t think about how he was going to climb down the tree.

Ryan searched for a place to keep his bag on the tree. his eyes fell on a dark brown colour electromagnetic speaker. It was kind of a Bluetooth speaker. It was hidden so well, no one could see it from the ground. It took a few seconds to understand the fact that he was being monitored and the man behind this could talk to them with the help of these speakers. Ryan turned the speaker a little bit so that the sound didn’t come directly to his ears. Ryan was going to be cautious with his actions as he was being monitored by someone or a group.

A few metres away from Ryan, an old man and Zelda were looking at twenty black screens in front of them. They were not the only ones there. Many teams of Acronis organisation were gathered around to see the performance of the test subjects. The twenty screens were soon going to be activated and every angle and every action of human behaviour could be observed from the screens. There were no cameras outside on the humans, it was an ability of an Acronis member.

Soon, the screens were activated and everyone could see the view of more than a hundred men and women lying on the green ground. There were even teenagers lying around in deep sleep. The speakers which were placed near them buzzed and sirens rang, waking up every human being who was sleeping peacefully. Ryan was happy that he moved the speaker a bit or he could have lost his hearing ability by now.

The old man and Zelda were searching for Ryan among the hundred men and women but they didn’t find him. Someone else spotted him and alarmed everyone that a guy was hiding in a tree. The old man and Zelda looked at Ryan. Again he had outperformed the rest of the people there.

The confused people heard a voice.

“You are under the care of Acronis, nothing will happen to you as long as you follow the rules”

“Everyone there is only one rule you need to follow.”

“1. Don’t kill humans”

“You guys just need to survive today till midnight to be alive and free”

There were shouts from all directions as they heard the instructions.

The old man, Zelda, Ryan and every other member of the Aronis organisation was observing the humans who were utterly confused, nervous and shivering in fear of the unknown. There were many who couldn’t control themselves in such a tough situation. There were many who had no idea what they had to do. Many were full of tears. A few started firing bullets in the sky and scared many other humans.

Many people started running away from those who were firing and wasting the bullets. But everyone feared the Acronis organisation. No one dared to kill or hit a human being. There were a few old men and even weak teenagers. But no one touched them. In a few minutes, the grass ground which was filled with humans was clear. Leaving only a few humans.

“It is such a foolish decision to run into the jungle” Ryan whispered to himself. They had no idea how many dangers were waiting for them inside. Ryan was cool that he didn’t take that decision. He recognised two people from a batch of people who were there on the grass ground. Those two were two side thugs who saw him kill their boss. Ryan understood why he got kidnapped. It was because of them. He thought about taking care of them but this was not the right time to do so.

The side thug and a few other people were the only ones who didn’t get scared by the gunshots. These people were familiar with guns.

Ryan stayed on the tree and didn’t even think about jumping down the tree. As he thought it was safer over here and he had all the supplies that he needed for a day or two. Soon, he heard shouts and screams of humans from the surroundings and from inside the jungle. He gulped his saliva and praised himself for his decision.
