8. Ryan vs Triceratops; battle for life

Ryan was quite shocked to see such a situation in front of him. He thanked his younger self for knowing a bit about dinosaurs, otherwise, he would have never been able to identify this creature in front of him

He couldn't sit properly but somehow kept his body on the triceratops.

If he falls down with the triceratops, Ryan wonders if he will be ok under the weight of the triceratops. He didn’t get down off the triceratops due to being scared of getting hit by the giant beast.

Ryan was suddenly caught unprepared and thrown on the grass ground. Tony had waited for the right opportunity to throw him off the triceratops. Tony was watching Ryan from the screen in the monitoring room, he was waiting for the right moment when Ryan would be relaxing and filling himself up for a second.

Zelda looked at the old man and said, “ Stop it, otherwise we will lose Ryan”

The old man revealed he was so interested in the battle that he completely forgot that Ryan was a normal human. But it was too late. The old man quickly flicked his finger and the white light in Tony’s eyes disappeared. Tony’s ability was cut off.

Some even closed their eyes to not see Ryan getting crushed. Few had guilt and pity for Ryan who was targeted and was going to be killed by a monster. Not everyone was cruel and evil in the Acronis organization.

Ryan ran towards the Triceratops. Everyone was quiet in the sudden change of the situation. Ryan saw that the triceratops eyes had turned normal. It was not shining anymore. He didn’t get what happened to the triceratops. He focused on the fight. They both came running towards each other. The Triceratops was faster than Ryan.

When the triceratops came closer to him, he slid and dragged himself between the triceratops legs. The triceratops didn’t stop themselves and went ahead with the same force. Ryan quickly got up and looked at the triceratops. But the triceratops didn't turn back. It went straight into the woods. The footsteps got lighter and lighter. It was indicating that the triceratops had gone far away.

Ryan took a few deep breaths. He had put every bit of his strength into dealing with the triceratops. Especially holding on to the triceratops was not an easy task. Ryan went together with his knife and bag. He was going to sit near a tree as he had no strength left to climb the tree again.

A few meters away, the teams of Acronis were enjoying and celebrating his win. Ryan had become a celebrity in their eyes. Many were cheering for Ryan’s win. The old man looked around and found that the fight had indeed refreshed everyone watching.

Ryan was relaxing under a giant tree. He heard some sound coming from the ground. He was scared for a second. There was far more shaking and vibrations were heard. He was sure that it was coming from the grass ground in front of him. He could tell something was wrong with the ground.

Ryan saw the ground rising high in the air. He didn’t understand what was going on. A few seconds later, the ground was still high in the air. Soon, he saw a window and a building kind of structure below the ground. Ryan understood it was the base of Acronis organization. It was hidden below the ground. A building came up from the ground where the grass ground was. The grass ground became the terrace of the building.

The building could be seen from a distance. He saw many survivors coming towards the building. Ryan looked at the survivors and could tell from their condition. They had the toughest time of their life.

It was a 10-floor tall building. A few people came outside the building and started handcuffing the survivors. Ryan saw the expressionless girl again. The same girl who kidnapped him with the old man. It was their second meeting. He still didn’t know her name. Ryan knew she was coming towards him to handcuff him.

Ryan showed his fist to her so that she could easily handcuff him.

“What’s your name?” Ryan asked.

The girl hesitated a little on whether to reply or not. She didn’t reply and took him with her. She ignored the question and took him inside the building.
