The Andrews mansion was just up ahead within the crowded neighborhood. Shops scattered everywhere on the ground floor. Jake packed his car within the compound and alighted from it.

Katherine remained indoors, she was pissed. Hiding away her illness from the family isn't right but Jake, him being so serious about it made things a little difficult for her.

”Are you coming... ”, Jake asked with a steady and calm voice.

“Look what we have here. ”, Debbie's voiced out behind Jake. “I was just about to call you, where did you guys go to? ”

Jake looked at the mansion and the windows, the lights were still on. He checked his watch only to realize they were really late. “Are mom and dad around.”

“Nah... ”,. Debbie responded as she proceeded to walk back into the house. Jake tagged along.

Katherine remained there in the car while they went so long. The feeling of anxiety consumed her. She looked at the duo conversed behind closed doors , it was just her, the car, and utter darkness.

Her mind moved back and forth. Took a look at the pills she has been using since her illness started. Although, it something quite complex.

Katherine eyes flickered a yellowish glow and vanished. She shook her head and dropped the pills. A sigh wandered out of her lips and she leaned forward a bit and picked the small container up.

Shocking memories bombarded her, she held her head up tight, groaning repeatedly as the bombardment didn't stop.

Weren't the pills working?

Memories, or perhaps vision, however she would have called it If she could get a clear visual on whatever was invading her mind.

Katherine fought hard but her mental barrier weren't possibly strong enough. She felt them owning cracks on plain sight. Slowly shattering like brick that has been hit by a truck!

She blacks out.

“Mom and dad went back to San Francisco...a call came up so they had to leave. Trust me, I tried convincing them to stay. ”,

Jake smirked and said. “ No worries, they are never really around, they got to work and it won't be nice if they get to see how Monday behaves with us every now and then. ”

“Yeah... I can't imagine what will happen if they find out he's the Faded Shadow. ”, Debbie thought as she approached the refrigerator in the kitchen area and takes out a bottle of water.

Jake ignored what she was saying as he looked outside the window. “I wonder what Katherine is still doing in there.”

“Did you piss her of or something?”,. Lucia returns the bottle of water back into the refrigerator.

“Hell no I didn't, prolly just a minor misunderstanding but it doesn't worth causing that much of an issue.” ,he moved closer to the window to get a better view of her. He caught a tiny glimpse of her head laid on the wheels. “Crap!.”

“What is it?” ,

Jake ignored Debbie's as he rushed outside. He ran up to the vehicle calling Katherine names repeatedly but she didn't respond. Jake opened the door and sort to bring her out.

An absurd wave explodes abruptly, Jake is knocked straight in a distance, crashing into one of the vehicles in the compound causing the alarm to go of.

Debbie eyes moved fast as it spot Katherine move at an absurd speed! she gasped and ran outside with her heart beating fast than it normal rate.

”Jake!.”, She shouted.

Katherine appeared before Jake within few three counting seconds and pulled him up from the ground, he struggled in her grasp while trying to talk his way out.

“Kather.. ”

“Katherine is gone... ”, her voice like a thousands of demons speaking in unison. “... now, where is the Taurian.”

“Where is the Taurian, Jake andrew.” Katherine's voice reverberated throughout the compound as it owned a fearing tone of the unknown.

Still standing there in shock and trying to process what was happening, Debbie's heartbeat rate increased! you could hear it bang like a drum as she watched Katherine torturing Jake.

What can she do?

“Taurian?”,

“Don't play dumb with me Mr. Andrew. Where is the Taurian, I might not repeat myself next time.”, the yellow glow in her eyes ceased and comes back a hundred times worse than before. “Where... is!”, her voice getting more louder and louder. “...the Taurian hybrid you keep!.”

Shatter!

Ground quakes and shattered to pieces, the ground floor beneath them broke into varying pieces with an omnidirectional wave in it wake.

Debbie fell on her back , frightened! she dragged herself backwards and further away, hiding behind Jake's vehicle which appeared crushed! appearing to look like it was crushed by a force from above.

Debbie shook her head, she new the wave was an all around attack but.. nothing made sense for her anymore.

“Taurian Hybrid?... Monday!”

“Now that wasn't so difficult was it? now where is he?”

”I don't know!.”, Jake answered.

“Liar!.”, she thundered.

“He is saying the truth!.”,. Debbie yelled from afar. “We don't know where he is. ”

She managed to be strong, she held back her fear of being intimidated by the being possessing her sister. “Please let him go.”

Katherine grew angrier, for some reason she had become upset. It affected the environment , it forced cracks and broke windows of houses that were around.

She turned and tossed Jake at his car with brute force

Crash!

Jake crashed badly into his car, he bled a little bit but he was seriously groaning. The pain inflicted on him was unbearable. Debbie rushed to aid Jake up but Katherine widen her extra palm, resulting to an outburst of a powerful wave that sweeps her further away.

She came crashing against her brother's car so hard that the force of impact was powerful to knock her out, thereby, becoming unconscious.

“Debbie!.”, Jake shouted at the top of the voice in pain.

Vexed! a possessed Katherine tightens her grip over his neck forcing him to cough badly. “Now where were we?”, She raised her head a little bit. “Where is the Taurian hybrid?. ”

Tranquility intervened between them. There were no words after that. As Jake struggled not to say anything... a wide grins escapes menacing Katherine's face putting a certain amount of fear into me but still... refused to give answer to her questions.

He was aware of what was at stake, and he wasn't going to be a snitch to save his own skin , instead, he was going to do what he didn't do before.

. . .protect him.

𝐉𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐘𝐒’ 𝐀𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓

“Okay... tell me something ”, Excitement stood in her expression as she spoke.

“What?”,

“Do you love me that much?”,

Her question juggled Mondays' head as he raised a brow. “Why not?”

“Then why did you ghost me for so long.”

“I was busy, look... we don't need to have this conversation right now. ”, He sighed. “Talking about what and what not occured in my absence will make things weird.”, His eyes slowly rolling to the side.

She made a little humming sound and draws in for what seems to be a kiss but she stops halfway and stares at Mondays' eyes, for some reason, she couldn't stop smiling while gazing at it.

“If you don't want to talk about it... fine, but... you better not be keeping anything from me. You know I am gonna find out. ”, her voice almost whispers.

Under the dim lights and within the barriers of tranquility, Mondays' phone laid on the table, screen blinking non-stop indicating Az trying to reach him but it was silent accompanied with no vibration.

“Can I ever hide anything from you?”,

“Hmmm... well you have hided few things from me in the past.”

“Was it intentional?”, he was smiling.

“Do not try to act smart.”, She giggled , smiled a bit and then planted her lips on his. “It doesn't suite you.”,

“Says the girl who is trying to turn me on.”, Monday tickled her and she bursted into short laughs in which she retaliated in-between them. Both of them got rough with each other in a playful way... like really playful.

A slight knock is heard on the door. It comes again and stops.

The couple stopped their rough play.

“Are you expecting anyone?”, Monday asked, looking at the door with curiosity written all over his face.

Jummy got of him and reeled some strand of her hair that were hanging on the side of her face. “...No, not sure.”, she walked up to the door.

Another knock pronounces itself at the door. “Who is it?”, She asked as she steps towards the door.

“Pizza delivery.”,

“Pizza?”, She shook her head. “When did we order pizza?”

“Well I didn't...”, Monday defended himself. As he sort to relax , his eyes catches a glimpse of his phone's screen blinking non-stop.

‘Shit! i wasn't expecting anything tonight!’, he said in his thoughts and picked up the phone. ‘Dammit...it been over 30mins now. Crap! I already promised her I won't be going anyway... what to do!?’

Confusion wrapped all over his face as he observed Jummy head back with the pizza.

“This is so messed up.”

𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐃𝐎𝐖 𝐇𝐐

“What are you doing now?”

“Trying to see if I get hack into any security camera there. Since it coming from an abandoned factory across borders... there should be a slight chance of ... got it!.”,

The scenario displayed right before their very eyes, Armed men were rushing into the building. All camera displayed different parts of the factory, nowhere was left out.

”Az! take a look at that.”,. Az sharply threw his eyes to another display as his partner alarmed him.

“What the hell is that?”

The men pushed in into a circulated chamber , their eyes on a seemingly burning figure.

“Fire!.”

The armed men started shooting but all bullets were deflected before they could even reach the figure. The all black figure appeared tainted in burning flames.

It slowly looked up and saw the men that were firing at it. It eyes glowed extremely bright , so did the fire around it.

The men soon stopped firing, realizing that their bullets were just as useless as their hopeless guns. They stared at the figure , washed up in their fear as the figure didn't respond to their bullets, the barrier of fire that surrounded it was crazy.

“Run!”, they said and ran for their lives.

The figure slowly raised it head up. Eyes shinning brighter than the sun...

Outside.

As the men preys towards the exit. An all round explosion occurs, taking them all out alongside the factory.
