“So who exactly is our new teacher? ”, Monday inquired as he sets his note book down on his desk. Naomi who was busy taking something out of her bag responded. “Doctor Something... you will know when you see him. ”

Monday nodded. “Yeah... right. ”, frowning as usual, he watched how everyone were having fun. Till the new tutor arrived.

Silence groomed the classroom has it should. The man in question was dressed in this home cloths and looked very queer to Monday.

“Have I not seen him before?”, Monday thought.

Naomi heard him as she looked at both the man as he settled down his things and then Monday.

“Seen him where?”

“I am not sure, but he looks familiar.”

“Sure now please keep it down.”

Monday nodded, making a slight cough before readying up for todays lecture.

Class ended afterwards and Monday was the first to make an exit. He was bored of all the lectures given.

There was a couple down the hall busy making out which pissed him of. Naomi caught him vexing over it.

“You can simply ignore you know. Than getting yourself all worked up. ”, She said as they walked down the hallway together. “You did yours in cold silent. ”

“You really need to stop reminding me about that. ”

“By the way... she's in school. ”,

“Don’t care , don't wanna know ”

“I never even asked if you wanted her whereabouts. ”,

Monday stopped and turned to her, his face held a glare. “I am not in school today for you to bully. ”

“Relax... I was just teasing you. ”

“Stop it. ”

“Hey Monday!. ” , The latter from the gang earlier yelped from a distance.

Monday looked from Naomi to the hugely built fellow as he limped up to them.

“Ain’t that your boyfriend. ”, Monday thought.

“Yeah... I guess...”

“Yo Bro... ”, Monday attitude swiftly changed. “What's up. ”

“I will tell you what's up!. ”, Without warning, he ignores Monday handshake and bashes his face with his clean fist.

“Alex!. ”,

The latter, Alex, didn't listen to his girlfriend scream. Monday who was still held his cheek and looked at Alex. “What was that for? ”

“I saw what you were doing, trying to feel all big over my girl? scolding her, who do you think you are. ”, He said and punched Monday again and again before he pulled his collar. “I run this territory now, not you. ”, he threw Monday across the hall and watched him land on his back.

Monday faked a half of his groan and his writhing.

“I don't want to ever see you near her again. Stay away from her if you can't respect her. ”, He beamed at Monday. He sort to rush at him but Naomi tried pulling him back but he shrugs her hand and storms forward like a bull!

“How about your stop ranting like some pained dog and walk away. ”, A voice intercepted his movements. A lady in a round neck top with long sleeves and fitting black tight jeans which hugged her body perfectly , giving out her busty parts. The brown top rhymed with her perfectly dark skin.

She was just a few feet away from Monday who was still on the floor.

“You!. ”

“Leave.”, she demanded.

Alex looked at her and Monday, his rage undoubtedly grew in numbers. “This isn't over Monday! I will get you next time. ”, Naomi dragged him out of and everyone soon resumed their movements.

The lady in question who had saved Monday from a possible outcome that would have forced him to make use of his taurian abilities , helped him up.

She had led him outside of the building and straight to the field where they situated on a bench close to the field.

“So much for resuming school and also for ignoring my text messages and calls. What the matter with you. ”

“Nothing ... just been busy.”

“So busy you can't respond to your girlfriend text messages... how typical of you. ”

He sighed; he felt this awkward feeling around her.

She placed her hand on his and tugged him closer to her. “Do you mind telling me why you had to miss a whole semester? ”

”i...”

“Do not tell me you where busy. I won't buy that from you.”, She said and looked at Monday with a curious gaze, awaiting a reply.

Monday looked up and down and at her before he uttered. “How about we talk later... like I will come over if that's okay with you?”

“No one is actually going to be around.”, She teased and tugged his hand and slowly brought his cheek closer a little bit and felt it with her lips. “Are you okay with that?”

Naomi was just few meters away, she had walked out of the building premise where she spotted Monday and the lady together

“Sure... sure.. I'm okay,”, he sharply got up but she got up with him and hugged him. Monday heaved his breath as held her, he didn't realize when his eyes met Naomi's and caught her taking a picture of them both and took of.

Monday cared less about it, he was just bothered about the closure between him and the lady before him. The eerie feeling alone made his heart skipped a beat.

Naomi who was just limping up the stairs bumps into her boyfriend.

“We need to talk. Now.”

“So Just because he nearly yelled at me, you think it okay to do what you are doing? ”

“Look... babe, ”. Alex held her in the waist. “I will do anything for you. That rascal had no right to yell at you like that, he should know who runs this school now. ”

“What are you so proud about anyway? running the school as per what are you? don't be a freak and leave Monday Alone. You had your fair share beating him up today---”

”Why are you defending him? ”, Alex shook her. “What is the matter with you. Monday doesn't deserve anyone, not even friends and I will make sure of that. ” , he uttered with determination in his lungs.

“How funny of you. ”, Naomi pushed him away. “If you're gonna do that, then I am calling of this relationship. ”

Naomi was about to walk out on him when he called her again and she turned to face him.

“Are you really going to ditch everything we have been through together for some orphan!? ”

“Hold it there!. ”, Naomi blasted and walked up to him, a storm tugged behind her as approached Alex. “Did you just call him an orphan. Let me tell you something Alex, you might be the most amazing thing that might have happen to me but Monday is. hundred times better than you. That it and hello, Mr. Run a clock, I am done with this relationship. ”

“What? ”, Alex heart crushed in an instant. “You are breaking up with me? ”

Naomi nodded her head with disgust and stormed out of the classroom he had brought her to. Alex is left in a shock. He tries to hang on but no, he couldn't.

He went to the window side and spotted Monday leaving the school premise only to be joined by Naomi who seemed in a rush.

“Monday... I'm going to get you back for this! I swear I will make you wish you were never born.”,. His eyes glaring at the latter as Naomi held his hand as if the were a couple. “Mark my words! I will make sure you bleed ”

Quite late it was already, everyone were already on their way home. Jake and Kat where in Jakes car, packed outside a pharmacy.

“Are you okay? ”, He asked as he watched her take the pills.

“I will be.”, She replied after digesting them. After allowing it all to settle down she looked at Jake with a curiosity. “Why do I have to do this here? ”

“We don't want to alarm mom and dad and Debbie as well. ”, Jake replied and kick-started the engines as it roared back to life. “I don't want us to worry them about anything right now.”, He puts his car back on the road, heading straight for home.

“We can't just keep this to ourselves. ”

“But keeping Monday’s secret wasn't a problem now was it? ”

“Excuse me??? ”, Kat was shocked. “Mondays secret is twice different from this, it my health we are talking about here.”

“Yes it your health and I promise we are going to take care of it. For now I don't want anything that will put the family under pressure. ”

”... Gosh!. ”, Kat sunk herself into her seat. “You are literally being unreasonable. ”

“Have you heard from Monday?”

“He went to school today, at least from what I heard, attended all periods without a fuss ... I have Naomi to thank for that. ”

Jake nodded. “At least , schooling is back on his priority list now. What remains is to work out his social life because well, being a superhero doesn't ensure everything. ”

“I don't follow... ”

Jake smiled. “What I'm trying to say is.. Being a superhero doesn't give you all the life hacks. It like having two different personalities. One has the favour of the world, carries the weight of the world on his shoulders and doesn't stress when it comes to basic things. Come to talk of your alter ego... your disguise, it takes a lot to do with that ego to a earn a lotta things. ”

“Oh shut up and take us home. ”

“As you wish.”, Jake chuckled and stepped on it!.

An alarming sound awakens! Az and the latter with him runs to check the surveillance system.

“Shit!. we just got a pick up on the heat signature that's familiar to the nuclear energy generator... it picking up fast!”

“It's active then... but what are those red thingy approaching it location??? ”

Az checked it out. “It must be that same organization that attempted to kill the president, They must be going to get the core. ”

“And Where the fvck is Monday?! ”, their eyes thrust at his suit as it appears to still be resting in it place.

“Tell me something... ”, She said. “Why do you keep avoiding me in public. You know it not fair.”

“I am not avoiding you.”, Monday said. They were both on the couch in her living room, watching TV and sharing popcorn but she takes an advantage of opportunity and sits on his laps, backing the TV.

“Then what... seems like you are avoiding me. Don't know, probably you are tired of me already or something. Or Maybe you don't love me anymore. ”

“Hey,”, Monday held her waist “ I am not avoiding you and... I still love you just as much as always.”

“Make me believe that.”

“Well am here. ”

“Just because you are here doesn't mean your mind is here. ”

Monday chuckled.

“It not funny... ”

“Alright alright... relax. I wasn't making fun of you. What do you want me to do to prove you that I still love you.”

“Stay with me for tonight. Don't go anywhere. If you do... then I will take that as my answer. ”

Monday's phone is seen beeping on the table , it appears to be on silent mode.

Without any much thinking, Monday responds “Alright then ...your wish is my command.”
