ACT 8

"Damn you, don't be full of yourself, Prince." While saying that, the soldier dashed toward Leo.

The soldier who has a sword in his hands swings it at Leo. But Leo dodged every single swing without any trouble.

*Ack* 

Leo thrust his sword at the soldier. Then he turns and looks at the remaining orcs and soldiers. There are still lots of them left.

*Phew* 

"I have to end this soon. The baby is hungry. I have to feed her."

"Let's warp this up!" Leo closes his eyes and concentrates his mana flow, then covers his body with the mana.

*DOOM* 

When Leo opened his eyes, which became the serpent's eyes, everyone flinched when they saw Leo's gaze.

"D-Demon !? "He is really the son of the demon king, "Amarros,"!" the fearful soldier muttered, looking at Leo.

"Let's end this."

Leo again rushed toward the soldiers and swung his sword.

Leo was so fast that the soldier's eyes couldn't even keep up with his speed and he died in the blink of an eye.

*THUMP* The soldier fell to the ground.

Even though Leo is tiny compared to the mighty orc, in the orc's eyes, he isn't tiny; he looks like a mountain to them.

"Even if you are stronger than us, we won't submit it to you. We are the loyal subordinates of the demon king." The orc who seems to be the leader spoke.

"Pfft. Hahaha, loyal subordinates, huh?" "What a bullsh*t, and I don't want you, traitors, to submit to me either."

"So let's end this quickly. I have important things to do."

Leo put his sword on his wrist. He doesn't want to use the sword against orcs.

"Huh!! "Foolish prince, you think you can win against us just with your bare hand." While yelling, the orc leader swung his axe at Leo.

Leo jumped and landed his feet on the axe, then kicked the orc on his head.

*Urghh* 

Then he punches with his fist, which is covered in mana.

The orc leader fell to the ground with a thud.

*Phew* 

"Not only am I fast, but my strengths have also increased by a lot now."

"Now only eight orcs are left."

"Now all done!" Leo says while sitting at the top of the pile of orc corpses.

"Hmm, oh, you are still here; I thought you had run by now." Leo says to the soldier, whose eyes were wide open at seeing Leo.

"Now let's have a nice talk." Leo walks down from the pile of corpses.

"Tell me why these guys are here, huh!"

"I don't know... I mean the demon king Eligor sent soldiers all around the world and said that would bring every subordinate under our previous demon king's control."

"And why's that? Why did he want them all?

"That's why I don't know why he didn't say anything to us."

"Hmm, what's that bastard plotting this time?" I muttered to myself.

Leo unsheathed his sword and cut the head off of the soldier.

*Wah*Wah*Wah* 

"Oh, you woke up again. Ok, don't cry. I'm going to feed you."

Leo then untied the baby and held her in his arms.

While I was feeding the baby, I brought out the two eggs to see if they were okay, but when I saw them unscratched, I sighed in relief.

"Whoosh," but suddenly the eggs floated in midair.

*Sooowh* 

*What the!?* I was shocked when I saw what the eggs were doing.

"Why is the orc's aura coming at the eggs... and not only that, the eggs are even consuming it too?"

"What's going on?"

After a few minutes, everything calmed down, and the eggs came at me by themselves and landed on my lap.

"What was that just now!?"

"Hmm, oh, are you done drinking milk?" I rubbed my cheek against the baby, and she grabbed my hand with her tiny hands while giggling.

"Now let's get moving then." I aged and tightened the baby on my back.

"Huh!? "Either the eggs became bigger or I'm just seeing things, but anyway, let's put them inside my cloth."

After warping things up, I continued my journey toward the northern continent.

While on our journey, we encountered lots of wild beasts blocking our path, but without any trouble, I dealt with them.

I even meet humans on my way... and ask them if there is any village nearby, and they show me the way to the village up ahead.

And after walking for hours, I finally reached the human village.

"Let's spend our night here today."

This time the village guards did not stop me from entering the village.

"Hmm, why are there so many people with weapons and armor?"

"Well, I came to this village to stay for the night, but I don't have any money with me right now, so how should I stay here?"

"Hello, ma'am!! "I'm new to this village, so can you tell me where I can stay for the night? I don't have any money with me, so even a stable is fine." I asked a young and delicate lady who was walking by.
