FALLEN DEMON PRINCE

Act 6

After leaving the village we again entered the woods. I left the village cause I had to go to the Northern continent as soon as possible.

"Looks like the sun gonna set soon."

"I better hunt something to eat for the night ."

I tightened the baby on my back with the scarf that I got from the village. And put a sleeping spell on her.

"Let's go deep into the woods to hunt down something."

When I went deep into the forest I heard lots of animal noises coming from every direction.

But I had some uncomfortable feelings...cause I feel like something is watching over me from the woods.

"Oh, A deer!!"

When I spotted the deer I approached slowly to it without making a sound.

And when I get closed enough I dashed toward it and with help of the sword, I slice its head. I did not even give it a chance to react.

"Well, you gonna be my meal for two days."

*Rustling * Rustling*

"What the!?"

"I think something is approaching us." I tightened the sword in my grip.

*Whoosh*

*BOOM*

*Growl*Growl*

*Hiss*Hiss*

"What the!? Why there is a magical beast in this forest and not one but two?".

*Hiss*Hiss*

*Growl*Growl*

"A serpent with wings and A wolf!?"

"Why are they clashing with each other".

*!?*

"Hmm, oh look a demon brat"

"What the!? it's just talked."

"Yeah, your right, and what is he doing in our domain?".

"The Serpent also spoke!?."I don't know what's going on but with the Aura, they are imitating they are dangerous.

They slowly walked toward me...and without even realizing I dashed toward them and swung a sword at both of them.

*Clank*

"What not even a scratch!?"

"Hey brat calm down you don't need to jump at us like that we won't gonna eat you".

With their voices, they both look to be female.

"Then what will you gonna do with me?".I asked nervously.

"Well, to be exactly.... nothing."

"Huh!?" I was surprised by what the female serpent just said.

"Oh, you have a little human baby on your back."

"Wait a moment why do demon have a human baby?". The female wolf become angry when she saw the baby on my back.

"Oh, she? I found her when the bandits attacked her family."

"And so what happened to her family?" Wolf asked.

"They died by bandits."

"So how did you get her then..?" this time serpent was the one who asked.

"Well to tell the truth...." after that I explained everything that happened even what happened to my family I tell them everything.

"Hmm, so you are a demon prince then huh!?"

"Well, I was but not now." when I say that the two magical beasts looked at each other and nodded their heads.

"Oh yeah, that's right well anyways come with us."

"Come where ??"

"We take you to our home." after that I followed them deeper into the forest.

"This is our home."

"What the!?". I can't believe what I was seeing in front of my eyes.

"As you can see Leo.... we are already died."

"We are just spirit now".

*!?*

In front of me, there were two dead magical beasts...the dead magical beasts have lots of missing parts like their head and others...it was an unpleasant site to see.

"But how did this happen!?"

"It's because of those damn human hunters ."

"They are strong lot more strong than us."

"We can't even leave a scratch on them....they we're like invincible."

"Anyway forget about that Leo we brought you here because we want you to do something for us."

"Hmmm, and what that thing you want me to do?".

"Come with us inside the cave."

There was a big cave in front of us but I did not see that when we came here.

When we entered the cave I saw two glowing stones.

"What is that Stones?"

" That's not a stone that is an egg."

"What!?"

"This is what we went you to do...they are our eggs...so would you please take care of them for us."

"In the future, they will be a great help to you."

"So, will you do that for us?". Serpent asked in a low voice.

"We know it's a selfish request to make but we can't protect them all the time."

"Hmmm, okay!!" after thinking for a moment I decided to take care of them.

"But why are you both trusting me with your eggs?"

"Well, it's simple your family was killed by the humans but you are still taking care of the human baby that you never meet...that reason is enough for us to trust you," Wolf said with a joyful voice.

"But I have another question why the human hunters didn't take your baby and why are you two fighting earlier oh and the wolf's also lays eggs."

"Boy calm down Don't ask so many questions at once."

"Oh sorry, I got carried away."

"Well, anyways the first question answer is this cave can't be seen that easily cause we cast a spell that will not let anyone see it that's why the hunters didn't take the eggs."

"And for the second question ...we got bored so decided to fight with each other to kill the time."

"And for the last question yeh we wolves lay eggs but only magical wolves, not ordinary wolves."

"So Leo will you please take good care of our babies it will take 5 years to hatch them magical beasts are different than normal wild beasts after all."

"And don't worry In return we will give you something for taking care of our babies."

"And what is that?".

"We know that you want to be strong to kill the demigods."

"So it will help you."

"Oh okay ."

"So are you ready Leo this is gonna be our last farewell .."

"Yeah, I'm ready."

After that, they suddenly went inside me.

Leo's eyes become like a serpent's eyes...and his body was filled with the strength that the wolf has.

*Huff *huff*

"Damn, I'm out of breath."

"So this is what they mean by help...I can feel a big change in my body."

"Well, Leo we hope you gave our babies lots of love and care." A voice of a wolf and serpent echoed inside the cave.

"Yeah, I will don't worry..."
