The sorrow garden

Clark body had finished under going it's mutation as he directly transformed to his werewolf form but there was a slight changes as he now had a scarlet turf of hair at the center of his head forming what looked like a crown.

"The legendary silver scarlet werewolf, how is this possible", Doug stuttered but suddenly found something amiss looking at his chest he saw Genesis ripping out his heart from his body along with a blood red crystal.

Unknown to Doug, Genesis had recovered some of his energy, while Doug was distracted by Clark transformation. Genesis under the instruction of the formless entity in his mind he gathered all the energy in his body into his left hand and struck like lightening, in one blow his hand pass through Doug body.

"Someone who relies on external power isn't fit to be an alpha", Genesis snorted.

Doug looked at him with his eyes filled with disbelief, he didn't know how he had died.

The whole place went silent as the only thing they could hear was their heartbeats, the scene they are seeing now is the one that never entered into their calculations, even in a million dreams they would never imagine that Doug had actually been killed by a mere human.

"Ge... Ge.... Gene... Genesis won", a werewolf shouted as he burst into tears having experienced Doug tyranny.

When the rest heard the outburst of the werewolf they joined in that exclamation, chanting the name of Genesis.

The rest of the students had mixed feelings as they all wasn't expecting this, but they suddenly hard a weird look on their face when some else actually shouted.

"Bloody howling, am wolfing freaking rich"

When everyone looked at the direction of the voice they saw that the one that was shouting right now was Clark who at one time looked like one person who has one leg in grace, but now he is thrumming with energy and the way he acted now lacked the aura of an alpha more like a scoundrel.

"Uhmm, don't look at me like that. It's just that Genesis asked me to bet all our savings on this a the bet about his life and death duel, now that he has won it automatically means that I ... Cough, I mean me and Genesis has won a bet of that returns hundreds of thousands", Clark said awkwardly as he scratched his head cursing Genesis in his heart for making him a scoundrel like him.

Clarissa didn't bother with him as a strange light suddenly enveloped their bodies, while the rest of the students looked at their disappearing figure with a dumbfounded expression.

Genesis turned and looked at Clark who had already reverted back to his human form.

"Thank you brother"

Once Genesis heard Clark's thanks he slowly closed his eyeshadow as waves of exhaustion washed over his body then he fainted in a warm soft arm, he didn't care who it was but as far as he had done what he had in mind he could finally rest. 

A mark appeared on Genesis wrist wrapping round it signifying that he is now a full fledged hunter, when looking closely at the mark it was a dragon battling with a ichneumon yet at the same time looking out for each other.

"When are you going to wake up", the formless entity voice rang out in Genesis head.

"Leave me alone, I want to rest", Genesis murmured.

"Okay, I won't bother but just to remind you, you have broken your past record by double the mark", the voice said in a curious tone but Genesis didn't find it funny as he suddenly woke up.

"Dafuck I have been unconscious for almost three weeks", Genesis shouted before a bitter smile was plastered on his face.

"Oh, seems that you are awake. Now our mission won't be on hold any longer" Aguya said as she stood up from the grass she was sitting on.

"Okay am list there, what mission and why are we in a freaking garden", Genesis questioned as he felt itchy from sleeping on the grass for too long, looking round he than realized that they were in a very exquisite garden and at that moment Clark, Clarissa and Isdis.

"Since the others are stingy with information can big bro tell me what the heck is going on", Genesis shouted as he kept a face of injustice, Isdis shook her head as she had finalized in her mind that Genesis is an overgrown baby

"Hey, hold your donkeys because apparently you are too arrogant to ride a horse", Clark said rolling his eyes before continuing speaking

"While you were unconscious, old man Shawn gave us a mission to investigate this garden and this mission was given to all the leaders..." But before Clark could finish Genesis chipped in.

"But am not a leader so why am I here besides I see nothing wrong in this garden"

"Do you know any other hunter apart from you in the school", Clark asked him to which he shook his head.

"Then automatically Yu are a leader in your own right, and this garden you see here changes at night into that despite the beauty it holds it still carries an air of sorrow", Clark siad but before he could continue again he heard the wailing sound of Genesis.

"Uhmm, sorry it's just that he was about to interrupt", Aguya said after smacking Genesis head with a metal box given to her by Mr Shawn.

"Well ok, the reason why we came early is because no one can enter the garden at night and and night reaches you in the garden you will pass through some trials but if you fail. Well get ready to be this pretty flowers manure", Clark added with a shrug.

"Ok, whatever but don't you think that for Mr Shawn to send me and you along with some beauties, maybe he is trying to play match maker", Genesis siad with a grin while rubbing his lower jaw but unbeknownst to him Clark had given him space so that he won't be implicated with him. At that moment Genesis realized that he had had spoken something that wasn't meant to be said but it was already too late as his body was already frozen by Isdis all the way to his mouth leaving his nose and eyes free.

"No we can wait for the night in quiet peace", Isdis said coldly as she sat down and began meditating making Clark look at Genesis pitying him for being so unfortunate.

"Why did you send Genesis on another mission alongside the rest of the leaders when he has not fully received the hunter's inheritance and blessings besides he is your student, shouldn't you be taking responsibility for him and not send him head long into danger, also don't forget that he is the only hunter in the whole of Fantasia", the great tree spirit asked with a raised brow despite knowing the answer to the question.

"Pfft, that shameless bastard. Since he didn't give me face why should I give him face. After all this mission is just to temper him not much, but at times I ask myself who did I offend for fate to assign me a scoundrel as a student ", Mr Shawn had a bitter expression on his face.

"Haven't you heard a say that goes like this, like student like teacher, if Genesis is a shameless scoundrel then his teacher must be a greater shameless scoundrel", the great tree spirit snorted leaving Mr Shawn dumbfounded and he could not even retort.

The night approached slowly and when the sky was covered with darkness, it was as if the whole garden was cut off from the outside world. The cold wind blew slowly, carrying a mourning song in it's wake, though the flowers looked pretty, once someone saw them they would not help but cry.

"Let's head to the center of the garden, there the core of the garden will show itself", Isdis said as she led the group deeper into the garden towards the center.

Genesis was spooked by the environment,

'this is a totally wrong idea', Genesis murmured but would not dare to be loud, he felt as if his heart would blow from frustration. He had escape from his mother's beatings only to come here and receive another, which made him wonder if his bad luck was heaven defying.

"Uhmm, Genesis I thought you would say 'it is common sense that the core would be at the center', am I right dear", Aguya said with a soft soothing voice but to Genesis it was the voice of a made titan..

"Hey why would I even think of that with my pure heart", Genesis stuttered as he was shocked because his inner thoughts were laid down on a blank sheet.

Everyone could not hold back their laughter as they saw Genesis embarrassed expression.

"Don't hold it to heart, it just that Aguya is an expert in reading the heart , body and soul, so it is not your fault your mind was saw through", Clarissa comforted Genesis as she sipped from her blood type O juice box.

"We are here", Isdis voice stopped the chattering of the group there was now a heavy air in the air making everyone's heart to be filled with immense sorrow.

At the center of the garden was a huge tree, then a radiant light emitted from the tree and a handsome man appeared but his eyes had an ancient touch to it making him have an aura of great wisdom but riddled with great sorrow.

"Ghost... Ghost... Gho...st", Genesis was screaming at the sudden appearance of the man but suddenly stopped yelling and making a scene when he saw the rest looking at him with a weird expression.

"You are really something else, you are not scared of a werewolf, vampire and even witches but you are scared if a mere ghost... Cough... Sorry senior", Clark chuckled as he tapped his Genesis shoulder.

The man smiled saw them laughing except for Isdis and Clarissa, which was their nature.

"Sigh, it seems that as I had grown older my sorrows grows along with it that I don't know what it meant to smile again. This whole garden is my body and the flowers are my regrets, so my soul is bound herand for me to leave majority of this regrets should be cleaned up ", the man said with a sad expression.

"How will we help you", Clarissa spoke for the first time.

"Simple just pick a flower", the man smile could break his face, so everyone randomly picked a flower but Genesis stood for a while having his doubts but refused to voice it out before going to the ancient tree and picked a flower at its roots.

When the man saw this his eyes shrank and he wondered how Genesis was able to see that flower anyone who came here was never able to see that flower because that flower contained his biggest regrets so it was hidden at the depths of his soul, but Genesis had not only seen it but picked it. If Genesis could clear away that regret his soul would be essentially free.

When everyone had picked their flowers a strange light enveloped all of them, Isdis and Aguya shared one flower since their soul is connected, then a song rung out of Clarissa flower.

"The sun and moon are lovers yet far, the moon doesn't know about the sun's existence but he knew about the moon's existence

Giving her his light so that she could sparkle but never one day had he heard a thank you. No matter how he ran to meet her to say his feelings she would move father away

He had surrounded herself with the stars as her companions but he was left with no one except himself.

Then with a resolve the sun had to smile everyday but his heart aches with the heat of pain and loneliness.

When the song ended Clarissa body fell limp to the garden floor but the others didn't notice as they were all engrossed by the light of their respective flowers.

Then a song also rung  from the flower held by the Yin Yang twins.

At times I feel like am not fit in some kind of way, though I had failed seeing you won't bring me regrets. I would love to hold your hand but I realized that you don't seem to no my name, but I don't care yet I still gave my heart.

As the song ended, the Yin Yang twins body fell limp to the garden floor but their hands still held the flower tightly.

A song also came out of Clark flower.

When the song ended Clark fell limply.

Genesis stared at the flower in his hands, he felt a strange connection to it. It was as if he would soot the pain it felt and at the same time it will ease his pain.

At that moment a song rung out.

Genesis fell limply to the ground, the man created a domain to protect their bodies as his eyes was full of expectations.

Genesis felt a slight pain in his head, as he slowly opened his eyes.

"What in the fucking hell", Genesis screamed as he was conned, he was in another body only to be welcomed by a rain of arrows.
