Hound Riders

Tom suddenly stopped and got off the horse. He saw the footprints in the mud and said with an ugly face," We are in huge trouble".

Jack also got down and saw the footprints he said in a tone filled with despair," The Hound riders from the orcs tribe are here".

While Tom studied the footprints seriously and found that the number of Hound riders was only 15. But this number was enough to make them feel despair.

But he still informed and said," Master Mage, the Hound riders are numbered 15. If we pass here then they will easily be able to find us through the smell."

John's expression changed and then he asked," What is the strength of those Hound orcs?"

Jack from the side looked at the surroundings while replying in a low tone," The Hound rider is composed of the Hound that is of bronze tier beast, and the orcs riding it also have the strength of bronze tier minimum and if our luck is bad then there might be even chance of encountering the iron tier orcs".

John thought for a second and then he said," Give me your arrows."

Jack's eyes lit up and he immediately handed the arrows and asked," Master Mage are you going to enchant the arrows again?"

John nodded his head and replied," Indeed. But I also know those Hound rider's strengths are at the Bronze tier so I will enchant the arrows using the Paralysis and Redburn seeds".

Tom from the side was still looking at the surroundings vigilantly while Jack handed all the arrows to John and later began to enchant them with Paralysis and Redburn seeds. It took him two minutes to enchant fifty arrows and then he returned them to Jack.

Then he looked at Tom and later also gave him the arrows and he did the same enchantment. After that, he returned the arrows and said," Remember to shoot the arrows close to the target but not in close range".

They both nodded their heads in solemn expression. Although even if they shoot the arrow at close range, John won't use the mana to detonate those seeds.

After that, they all began to ride and escape the place. The valley was 300 meters big so even though they were trying not to make noise the footsteps of the horse were still loud.

Suddenly in front of them, a dog that was black and its size was three meters high. The shiny teeth and saliva dripping from their mouths made their expression even more ferocious. On their back was those wild orcs looking at them with expression seeing this John immediately said," Hurry up and attack".

Both Jack and Tom came to their senses and they shot two arrows and they flew towards those Hound riders at a very fast speed.

The captain of the Hound riders slashed the arrow and broke it into two. But at this time a mutation appeared and those broken arrows filled with green light and then red smoke filled the area.

In the next second tragic roar of the Hound and orcs was sounded from the Red smoke.

Tom and Jack fired another arrow and then they looked at John for further instructions.

John couldn't see the scene and he said," Wait for two minutes, and then we will see what the situation is".

Two minutes passed by and they were shocked to see that both Hound and orcs were lying on the ground paralyzed face. Most of those Hound and orcs have terrible expressions on their faces.

Seeing the scene made them all chilled and Jack and Tom took the lead and ended their life.

Jack inspected the corpse and said," Master Mage, the paralysis plants failed to pierce the skins of the Hound. If they were not stabbed in their eyes and nose then we might have to fight a bitter battle".

John nodded and said," Well let's leave here".

Jack and Tom immediately rode the horse and then Tom said," Master Mage, let's go to the Blackrock Fortress."

John didn't have any opinion. As long as he could save his life.

So he just followed behind them. They rode for four hours straight and John didn't remember anything about the surroundings as he just wanted to escape. All he knew was he passed through unfamiliar terrains and bushes.

It was already noon. So John suddenly said," Let's stop and rest for some time and then we will leave again".

Jack and Tom also nodded their heads and said," Okay Master Mage".

They also felt that they had escaped far away from those orcs.

So John used his skill to grow watermelons. They were seedless and very sweet. The trio ate their fill and replenished their energy.

Jack took nine watermelons and let the horse eat them.

Anyway, John also felt that with his current abilities making watermelons hardly consumed any magic. If he wanted then he could easily grow ten thousand of watermelon.

They once again started the journey and just half an hour later, John looked at the distance and found a human.

So he immediately said," Jack, Tom there are humans ahead".

As he had reached black tier his five senses had also been enhanced.

Listening to John's words, Jack and Tom stopped the horses, and then Tom said in a solemn tone," Master Mage we might have encountered a bandit hideout".

John's expression changed and then he looked at Tom and later added in a somewhat ugly tone," The bandits might have already seen us. So we might prepare for the battle".

John didn't know what to say. He suddenly saw that those bandits had already taken out the bows and arrows and shot towards them without hesitation.

Seeing them all retreated and then Tom said," Master Mage, we have to kill them all only then we will be able to pass this place or else they will keep harassing us".

John looked at Tom and said," Let's fight then".

In the next second, Tom and Jack got in position and soon they used the arrows to easily take out the bandits in the front. Then they all headed toward the cave.
