**The Escape**

As the car came to a screeching halt in the ditch, Zack and Flora were thrown forward, their bodies jolting from the impact. Flora's heart raced as she struggled to catch her breath, her hands trembling as she clutched onto the door handle. She was bleeding as she tried to hold on.
