CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTEEN

{ REVENGE FOR RICHARD }

Walking out of the mansion. I knew Rosetta was jealous but I was not bothered. I also knew she and Thomas were not seeing themselves again but I care less. My mind was focused on Judith and why she had helped me with Mr Dickson. I knew without her help I would have been caught.

The air was thick with anticipation as I made my way to the lounge to meet Judith. Her unexpected assistance had stirred something within me. A mixture of gratitude, suspicion, and curiosity. I couldn't shake the feeling that she knew more than she let on. At least that was what I wanted to believe.

As I entered the dimly lit lounge, I spotted Judith at a corner table. She looked up and smiled, her eyes sparkling with a mischievous glint. I took a deep breath and approached, trying to mask my nervousness.

"Right on time," she said, her voice smooth and inviting. "I was beginning to think you'd stand me up," she said with a smile looking a her golden wristwatch.

"Not a chance," I replie
