[ SYSTEM VOICE; WAKE UP, FRED ] The loud noise telling me to wake jolted me to reality. " Where am I?" I said looking around. " Jesus Christ!" I shouted as I got up dusting my already dirty uniform. I looked at my hands and I noticed my Rolex wristwatch had been stolen but I wasn't bothered. I grabbed my phone and I saw Marcus had called me several times. Nineteen missed calls! I called back but no reponse. The school was getting darker and I needed to leave before someone saw me. The security were always making sure no one was left behind after the school days. But I knew I was left behind on purpose. I grabbed my bagpack and rushed towards the car park to drive out of the school. I knew a place where I could take to make sure I wasn't seen but when I got to the garage, my face went pale. My car had been bashed and the window were all in shambles. On the body were inscriptions and names that is was now being made. " Frederick the jinx." I knew I had to walk on foot. I decided to take another routes leading straight to the back of the school but as I made my move I heard a sound. " Who goes there?" One of the security said outloud flashing a light in my direction. I quickly hid myself waiting for him to leave. I could hear his raggered breath as he walked towards the garage. He let out a sigh, when he saw the inscription on my car. " Poor soul." he said slowly and walked away. I knew I had to move fast but then my phone made a sound. I froze. The flash light, came in my direction. " And where are you going?" The man asked grabbing his baton. " Are you hear to steal?" " Steal?" I turned to face him " I am a student here." I replied as if that would stop him from trying to have me arrested. " The you should know the rules. No students should hang around by the time of the day. I am sorry but I will have to detain you until the following day." The bald man said waking towards me. I couldn't run, he was muscular and I am very sure he must be faster than I am. If only the system could hear my thought and help me. I said silently. As the man charged towards me, I heard aloud thud right in front of me. I opened my eyes and I my mouth dropped in awe." What just happened?" One minute he was walking towards me and the next minute he was down. " Don't you have a place to be?" I heard a voice right behind me. I turned slowly and I was amazed once more. He was almost my size but he was having an athlete body with a chiseled jawline and piercing blue eyes that seemed to bore into my soul. He was dressed in a sleek black outfit that looked like it was tailored specifically for him. "Who are you?" I asked, still trying to process what had just happened. The stranger smiled, revealing perfectly white teeth. "Someone who's been watching you, Fred," he said, his voice low and smooth. "You're in a bit of a mess, aren't you?" I nodded, still trying to wrap my head around the situation. "How did you...? What just happened to the security guard?" The stranger chuckled. "Let's just say I have my ways. And as for the guard, he's just taking a little nap. He'll be fine." I looked at the guard, who was indeed lying unconscious on the ground. I turned back to the stranger, who was watching me with an amused expression. "What do you want from me?" I asked, trying to keep my voice steady. " Want from you? You cannot afford me. I saw you needed my help and I decided too." The guy said and walked away. My eyes followe him as he walked and for a moment I wish I could buy him to my side. Money wasn't the problem for me anymore but the guy was having an ego. My mid went back to Marcus, I need to go now. I ran towards the exit and as I was about to flag down a cab, Marcus call came in. " Where the hell have you been, Fred? Did you get my calls?" Marcus shouted with anger. For a moment, I wonder why he was angry even right after I had apologised to him. " Get down to the gym right now!" Marcus shouted and the calm went off. I looked at the cab man who was staring at me awaiting instructions on where to drive too. I was initially going to pick up Georgia from the hospital but with the way Marcus had spoken to me, i had to change direction. I told him I was going to the gym and he zoomed off. As the driver drove my mind went back to the young guy that had been the guard. I knew he was a student in the school but he was bold. Taking down a security guard of the school was like going against the school itself. The only set of people who were crazy eniugbt to take on the guards where of course Ethan and Aiden, the evil twin.The beat the guard to a pulp and even did a video record of the whole show. Ever since then, non of the students have ever tried too. I knew Damain could but he didn't. To him, they were more like lackey than an actual threat. However, I was thankful to the young lad for saving my day. Maybe I would have been locked up in a class awaiting my execution the following day. " Can't we go any faster?! I yelled at the old man.
