FUTURE OF ZEN

A GUEST

As the day went on Zen kept his training and Linda was instructing him different types and how to properly do them.

At last his exercise for the day finished and he was exhausted to the core to not even being able to move a single inch now.

Linda told him to do the run to the home but he was not in shape to go back like that.

So she picked him up on her back and started going toward the home.

But Zen was so embarrassed to be on her back.

He told her not to do this and drop him but she didn't listened to him as she kept ignoring him.

Just as she kept going Zen she realised that Zen was asleep.

She figured he was really tired.

So she ran toward the home quickly so she can put him on the bed so he can rest.

As she reached the home and after entering the house she got him off her and put him to rest on the bed.

As she was little hungry she came downstairs to the kitchen and made something for her to eat.

Just as she cleaned the dishes and was going toward the stairs.

She heard a noise coming from the kitchen.

She thought it might be the washed utensils she just put so she didn't paid attention and started climbing the stairs.

But she heard a noise again and but this time it was from the living room.

It was like someone just sat on the couch and then got with a push, which created that noise.

So she immediately went to check but found nothing.

She wasn't convinced so she checked it thoroughly but didn't get anything.

So she with her doubts but not able to found anything turned and she got a near heart attack.

She was looking at the cause of the noise.

It was a person she was looking at.

As she looked at him and said

' why are you here and at this time?

What you intend to accomplish by doing this act of yours?

Huh, tell me “berry” ? '

As berry replied

' nothing just checking on you as usual.

Is wrong of me to check on someone i love? '

Linda replied in anger

' oh shut up! And tell why you are here? '

Berry said

' The kid.

Who is he?

I know your brother didn't possessed power gear.

But now somehow he was able perform one of the great power forms

“Dhyaan”.

Is it just me or are you trying to hide something?

You better not because you know who i am and who do i work for.

So spill the beans or should i ask our little brother Zen himself ? '

Hearing that Linda attacked him and pinned him on the wall.

She with her full of angry eyes looked straight in his eyes and with putting more force to her elbow on his throat she said

' i will kill you right here, right now.

If you lay a single finger on him.

I don't care if you die here today and i am the one blamed for it.

Even ruining my self will be fine but letting anyone like you even get close to him, i will behead them myself and no king can stop me.

So its better you should leave and stay away a thousand mile from Zen.

Else you will be lying on the ground begging for mercy and i will not be sparing any. '

As she still hold him down on the wall, he started to chuckle on his throat as he said

' Fine, i will go for now.

But you better have a reason for hiding his power gear up until now.

Else you will face your highness himself.

Which i think will be bad for you and your cute little brother '

Hearing that she yelled

' I will kill you! '

As she forced a punch toward him but he vanished, which lead her strike to land on the wall which made a cracks all over the wall and the impact put a big shallow hole in the wall.

This created a big noise and Zen woke up due to it.

As he came downstairs and saw the big cracks in the wall and Linda standing by the other side of the wall in the living room.

She suddenly looked at Zen with the same glare she had before, seeing what Zen felt a shiver of terror through his skin.

Just as she realised it was Zen she was looking at she turned her face the other way and taking a deep breath she calmed down.

Then she turned around looking with a smile on her face she said

' what happened Zen?

Problem sleeping?

Or you need something?'

She made it look like nothing happened and was looking at Zen with a look that he better not ask her anything but he in his own confused state asked her out of fear

' i-i just hear a loud noise and i woke up to that.

So i came to check and nothing else.

I am going back to sleep, goodnight.'

As he walked toward the stairs and Linda was watching him.

But she figured she had to tell him after all she made him promise her that he should tell her anything that is bothering him but now she was not able to trust him and tell him what happened and scared him of to not even being able to ask her what happened.

So she called him back

' Zen! Come her for a moment. '

As he scared to even look at her, without turning toward her said from the stairs

' its really nothing, i didn't saw anything.

Don't pay attention to me just think i was not here.

I will go back to my room and get to bed right away'

But Linda insisted him to come down and said

' Don't be scared, i know you saw the cracks and the hole so come down to me so i can explain to you what happened.

I think its better for both of us to not keep secrets from each other.

It would be better for both of us, especially you because you are not from this world.

So come back down and at least look at me i am talking to you. '

As he turned around and come back down.

They both sat on the couch as Linda asked him to do so.

She started explaining

' after i put you on the bed, i came down to kitchen to eat and as i was returning back to my room i heard a noise from the kitchen and then the living room.

So i went there and checked but nothing.

But as i turned there he was.

A familiar face, who i once fought alongside.

He was One of the great Seven Swords of the King, Berry.

This is a division created by the king, who are under direct control of him.

He somehow know about you.

That you have power gear now and he does know that too, that My brother Zen didn't had one.

He saw us in the beach training and also you using Dhyaan.

So he wanted to know how and why you had it.

Also why i didn't told them the truth if you had it before.

He was going to ask you personally as he threatened me.

So i have to out him in his place, i pinned him to the wall and i made sure he doesn't get to you.

He also said he was going back for now but then again that bastar had the nerve to say that he will ask you personally if don't tell them about you.

I got in rage and tried to punch him, but he got away.

Just in time as he got away i hold back my punch or else the wall would not have been standing.'

Hearing this Zen's mind was in complete chaos.

He looked at Linda with look of needing more explanation and said

' okay, i get it he was going to interrogate me so you tried to punch him and he hot away.

But why in the first place he know you and why he want to know about anyone like me.

I mean i am not any special, i do understand that i am surely the only one who at this age had developed the gear power but it has nothing to with the country.

How he even know that i have one?

Why he was keeping an eye on us? '

So Linda said

' i guess i didn't told you before.

But i was also one of the member of the seven Swords '
