Eric's face was hot red with anger, while as for Christopher, he was already fed up for the day and not ready to take any shit from anyone.

Eric raised his head and took a glance at him from his head to his toe. He didn't even look like someone who had any prominent social status.

Eric thought that there was certainly no way that he would be able to get the company.

"You think I am here for children's play? What are you trying to do? To mock me or something." He gloated.

"Can you even afford three square meals daily to talk less about acquiring a company?" He continued.

"Says someone who could not manage a company and wanted to sell it off?" Christopher responded.

There, hate and anger between the two of them brewed even more.

Just then, a cracking sound came from the door that seemed to avert their hateful glares for a while.

A lady walked through the door, and, pairing further in her direction, Christopher was hit by the sudden sense of recognition.
