“The maid told me that you haven’t been touching your food. Do you want to die?” Lawrence asked his gaze in the direction of the food.

“Death is more pleasurable at this point than living.” Mira replied with ease.

Lawrence realized that she seemed to have given up, and at this point, a mere killing of Mira would simply be in her favor. He didn’t want to kill Mira; he wanted Mira to suffer so much pain.

“You really think I am going to persuade you to eat your food? If you starve to death, it is your choice.” Lawrence finished off and left the dungeon afterwards.

Once Lawrence was out of sight, Mira realized that he didn’t have human sympathy. It was slowly beginning to appear to her that Lawrence would be the first person to celebrate her death.
