Eugene's face was solemn.

" So it seems your death was faked? "

David scoffed ' Of course junior brother, do I look dead?".

"You don't look pleased to see me". He said.

"You should be happy I'm alive, after all, I'm still your senior brother".

"Do you loathe me that much?"

Eugene looked at him in disgust

"Why can't you just let the dead be?". He asked.

" He's already dead. Just let him rest in peace".

" You guys mistreated him enough when he was alive".

"Or you want his talent?".

Eugene smiled lightly and shook his head.

" No. It can't be you".

"You love yourself too much to take that risk".

" Why, I was even doubtful that you would enter a dangerous realm all in the name of breaking through".

" Coming to think of it, there were a lot of holes in the story of your death".

"I guess you're using that fool Fabil, as your lab rat'.

Davi had been watching Eugene in amusement, but when he heard the last part his face stiffened.

" Stop all this nonsense! Let's get to the main point".

" Go home Eugene. You have no business here".

" We have everything under control".

He stared at Eugene seriously, " Do not stir anything up. We do not have to fight".

Eugene shook his head.

"I'm sorry I can't".

" Our smiling days have long gone past, so I don't need to do anything for you".

" What if it fails?". He asked. " What if your elaborate plan fails and a monster is awoken? Do you not even care about the date of this universe should that happen?".

The corner of Eugene's lips raised a bit, " You cowardly bunch would just flee and leave the mess for us to clean up".

" So, no senior brother Davi, I will not leave. It's either you stop this madness or I stop it for you".

Davi sighed.

" In the end, it all comes to fighting. Why did I even bother asking?".

" Well, off you go".

His hands moved swiftly and a hand seal formed. He waved his hand at Eugene and suddenly, black energy threads bloomed out of his hand.

It shot straight at Eugene and his group and in the next instant, it formed a big ball that encapsulated them.

He looked at them indifferently and said.

"This is the highest trapping technique in my arsenal, any move to destroy it will only drain away your energy in large amounts. So don't waste your strength".

He crossed his legs and sat in front of the ball.

" It will only disperse when I wish to or when my energy runs out. I'm pretty sure my energy reserves can hold on for like three days, so sit back and relax. When we are done with our business, everyone can go their ways". Davi said.

He did not want to trouble himself by fighting them. This was the best option.

Inside the black threads.

The experts looked at each other silently for a moment.

A swordsman amongst them scoffed and stepped out.

" You think you can just spout some trash and we would just sit back and take it like idiots? Who do you think you are? I'll slice this stupid thing to atoms".

"it's not going to work, friend".

Monk Agdol who still had a smiling face spoke.

" There's no way I will know if I don't try". The swordsman replied.

He shut his eyes and grasped the sword hilt at his waist.

Immediately a solemn sword cry rang out. A terrifying sword law rose and billowed in all directions.

The experts close to him could feel a prickling on their skin.

He unsheathed the sword by an inch.

" Valley of fallen leaves". A lonely voice whispered.

Zing!

A boundless sword aura rose in the void and a crushing pressure spread out. Sword lights flashed out and spread around him.

Suddenly they were inside a valley filled with fallen leaves.

The sword was unsheathed fully and the lonely voice cried out.

Efel moved closer to Eugene and whispered.

"Why the performance? Why can't he just attack?".

Eugene answered.

" I think so too. I wonder how he's not dead yet. If I were his opponent, there's no way I'd wait for him to finish".

The swordsman changed his grip on the sword and swung it gracefully.

Ka!

The sword lights around him disappeared suddenly and shot at the black threads.

Destructive energies surrounded the sword lights as they slashed at the black threads with unimaginable speed.

Plonk!

And nothing happened...

Utter silence came upon the group of experts.

The swordsman's eyes popped out in disbelief and his mouth hung wide open.

There was no reaction at all.

The sword lights he was so proud of had all sunk silently into the black threads without producing as much as a ripple.

" Well, I said it wouldn't work". Monk Agd'ol commented from the side.

The swordsman silently sheathed his sword and went to the back of the background with his face burning from shame.

Monk Agd'ol sighed and went forward

" That is a very good technique, Davi".

Davi smiled amiably.

" Though you pretty much explained the technique to us here, either you left out a part of it, or you don't just know about it at all"

Monk Agd'ol spoke as he moved forward.

Davi continued smiling.

" And what do you know? We have three days to be together. I can entertain any chitchat". He relaxed and watched with playful eyes.

Monk Agd'ol smiled and rolled up his sleeve.

" Your technique drains energy so that means all energy attacks cannot be used, but normal attacks are still effective. Right?"

Davi laughed mockingly.

"Do you underestimate me so much? Do you think that my technique would be so weak that normal attacks would work on it?".

Monk Agd'ol by now had rolled up both his sleeves. he flexed his wrists and asked. " have you ever heard of the ' Body Limit Breaker'?".

Davi waved his hand dismissively " Is it not that bodybuilding technique that takes more than a thousand years to break a limit?"

His eyes widened.

" Don't tell me...".

In the next instant, Monk Agdol suddenly punched at lightning speed and his fist impacted the black threads.

BOOM!!! CRACK!!!

The threads cracked and burst open immediately scattering into energy that dispersed into the surroundings.

" No! It's not possible, how can you be so strong?".Davi was in disbelief as he moved backward.

Monk Agd'ol turned to Eugene and the rest. " Complete the mission, I will hold him back".

Eugene nodded at him and waved his hand at the others gesturing them to follow and they shot towards the Reincarnation River at insane speeds.

Davi's face turned ugly.

" Did I allow you to leave?".

He made a hand sign swiftly and a large palm with a stifling aura immediately attacked the group.

Monk Agdol waved his hand indifferently and the palm disintegrated in an instant.

He turned to Davi.

" Are you going to stop here or not?".

Davi shook his head.

" Don't think because you have broken my trapping technique you have defeated me".

"It was only surprising that you had trained your body to that extent".

His face became ferocious.

"For obstructing my plans. Die!".

Davi's hands moved swiftly and a hand seal formed. A surge of stifling dark energy gathered in an instant around Monk Agd'ol.

It brought with it a wave of destructive aura.

He clenched his fist.

Boom!

The dark energy exploded immediately and the destructive aftershocks ravaged the surroundings for a few moments before becoming calm.

When the ravaging impacts cleared, Monk Agd'ol stood with his eyes closed still in his former position. No sign of the attack on him as he stood unscathed.

There was not even a blemish on his body!

He raised his eyes and looked at Davi.

" My turn". he whispered.

Suddenly Monk Agd'ol disappeared from that spot where he was.

An alarm rang out in Davi's mind.

Fast!

He was too fast.

Even he who was half step into that stage, could not follow his movements.

A large fist widened in front of him and the next instant, he felt a huge force travel through his face and he was blasted into the distance.

" That should do it". Monk Agdol thought.

Suddenly, he looked sharply in the direction Davi had flown to.

Heavy breathing could be heard from that location.

A dark and creepy aura covered everywhere suddenly and a dirty feeling immediately permeated the air.

" You've done it now! ............. You've done it!". A raspy voice croaked.

Monk Agd'ol looked on curiously, and soon a figure moved towards him at a slow pace

A pair of blood-red eyes stared at him malevolently.

Black veins sprawled about on Davi's thin body. And his bloodied face was craze. The dark aura surrounded him like a cloak and made him look like a demon from the depths of hell.

Davi looked at Monk Agd'ol through a shade of blood and his anger rose exponentially.

" Now that you have forced me to take this form, no other option awaits you except for DEATH!".

He stepped forward and flashed towards the Monk.

He slashed at him with his claws which had a red and dark aura surrounding them.

Monk Agdol calmly evaded his attacks, but Davi continued his crazy attacks until he entered a frenzy.

He parried a slash from the crazed Davi and looked at him thoughtfully.

" Why did you have to do this?". He asked quietly.

"What is going on?". Davi thought in alarm.

"Why can't I still touch him? I have already used this forbidden form. Why am I still weaker than him???".

He extended his senses and tried to estimate the Monk's power.

Suddenly, he backed away with a swift movement. He looked at the Monk with horror.

" You! Why can't I sense your cultivation?". His eyes widened in disbelief. No! You can't possibly.....".

" You have broken through to that level!". His voice was lower than a whisper.

He suddenly turned and escaped and his speed was impressive. He was so fast that his figure continued fading in one distance and the next.

Rip!!!!

A tearing sound rang out and blood floated all over.

Davi stared with wide eyes and blood flowed from the corner of his mouth.

" Why?..........Wh.... Why?!!!". he croaked.

The light slowly faded from his eyes and he stopped moving, eventually losing all signs of life.

Monk Agd'ol glanced at the lone head floating in the void, then he turned his head and looked at the Reincarnation River in the distance.

" I have removed one of the pests for you".

" You have to complete the rest on your own".

" Further interference by me would break this reality".

He waved his hand and a large rift opened in the void. Strange energies spilled out and the void seemed to cry out in protest.

He went through it and it closed instantly.

" Farewell, old friend".
