I. A dream or should I say a nightmare

As I watched the sky from the window of my room I still remember the things that happened last night. What happened to Okamoto Chiaki and about my eyes. Even if it is vague to think that it is all true because I only suddenly experienced and saw it for the first time, I knew in myself that I was ok and I felt ok at those times, so how? Is that one of the hallucinations? Illusion? Or just my imagination? But based on what Koizumi-san said it is not possible for my right eye to see anymore because it is completely blinded but what is that?

"Is it just a side effect? ​​But it can't be that it's side effect is to suddenly see stuff and what's more the thing that I saw is not merely what an ordinary human would see." I mumbled to myself while I kept on thinking about everything that had happened.

"Am I crazy? Or did my head get bumped to something? But the thing that I saw basically felt real but how did that happen if it's already blind?" I kept mumbling to myself.

"Onii-chan." I was startled when Mio suddenly pulled my shirt. That brought me back to my senses.

"Oh! Mio, what's wrong? Did something happen?" I asked, looking like I got caught doing something weird.

"Are you ok?" She asked while staring at me.

"Hahaha, I'm fine." I said as I released an awkward laugh.

"I kept on calling you a while ago but you seem to not hear me." She worriedly said.

"Don't worry I'm fine. I'm just thinking of something." I responded as I messed up her hair.

After all that happened yesterday I thought of spending my time with Mio. I want to spend this whole day with her, just the two of us. Somehow I felt relieved and lost my worries about something because what is more important now is the one here in front of me and the one with me now is Mio. It feels like a normal day like nothing happened.

Time passed until late at night. I laid her on her bed and kissed her, I was about to leave when she grabbed my shirt.

"Nii-chan I want to sleep by your side." She said with pleading eyes.

*sigh* "Ok then but tomorrow we need to tell them that you're staying in my room from now on so that they can use this room for other patients." I said and lifted her up. I carried her into my room.

I laid her on my bed and covered her with sheets. I stroked her head and then I kissed her forehead.

"Goodnight." I whispered as she closed her eyes.

After I put Mio to sleep, my thoughts were replaced by what happened last night, the strange events of those times forced to come back to my mind. Not knowing the answers to what I saw, as if it still left a strange thought in my brain.

I just laid myself down next to Mio, closed my eyes and then fell into a deep sleep.

I was blinded by a light that hit my eyes. I was just surprised because I was no longer in the hospital but outside and walking somewhere. I stopped in front of a building that I think is a school because of other people who also go inside in uniforms that I do not know which school. As I looked around I could see that I could see everything. My vision is normal.

"What's going on? What's happening ??" I mumbled in my mind.

I tried to wake myself up because maybe I was just dreaming but no matter how hard I tried to lift my arms I couldn't do it, I couldn't even lift my feet.

"What the heck ?? Don't tell me that I'm in someone else's body ??" I panicked in my mind because that was the only reason I could think of why I couldn't move my body.

The body started walking again into the building. It opened the locker and then changed its shoes. Wherever the body's gaze goes I watch it closely to get information on what is happening. I looked at everything carefully but all the information, words and details were all vague.

"That's why I didn't notice the name of the school when I stopped in front of it." I mumbled in my mind.

I got to a room because of this body but before entering, it first looked up to see the number placed in the room. I looked closely at it and hoped I could see it but it was still vague, but almost everything was still normal. It entered the room and looked around. I see many students inside who seem to be talking and making noise, and they are noticeably younger than me.

"Maybe they're all the same age as this body." I whispered in my mind.

When the body reached its seat they suddenly turned to where I was which caused my shock and my heartbeat quickened, not because they all turned around but because of their faceless faces. Suddenly the body bent down and looked at his desk. It is full of different kinds of letters and full of scribbles that you should not see in a school.

"Is she being bullied?" I thought.

My eyesight has only been there for a long time because that is where its eyes are focused. Suddenly water got dropped on its desk and it started sobbing. One by one it wiped the tears from its eyes. From what I can see I feel pain.

"What was that pain?" I mumbled in my mind.

Pain as if I understood its pain, but why? Shouldn't I just feel that way if I know the person who's feeling it. Wait, don't tell me, I know this person's identity ??

While this body was crying I heard footsteps approaching me. I saw a pair of feet stop in front of me. Slowly, its body raised its head and then the faceless girl appeared to me with sudden lips coming out of it and then smiled creepily.

I get up from my bed, my flesh and my whole body tremble but not with nervousness but with sudden fear in that dream. My heart was pounding fast because of that dream that I felt was real. I held my head tightly as my sweat dripped and then struggled to remember that dream. I put my hand in my right eye to check its sight but as Koizumi-san said it was blind.

"But why is it that my vision there is normal? Is it because it's not my body?" I mumbled to myself, because that time my vision was fine.

I try to calm myself down because my body is straining. I took a deep breath and did it again and again. I tried to remember what happened in my dream but the only thing I remember is the girl with a creepy smile.

I looked out the window and saw it was still night but I felt like that dream was too long. I shifted my gaze to Mio, she was still asleep, fortunately I did not wake her up. I slowly stroked her hair and it suddenly turned around and faced me. I was afraid, because the face that I saw in that nightmare is now in Mio's face, and that my vision was clear again.

I was able to get up while chasing my breath, it was also a dream. That was terrifying. I pinched myself to find out if I was really awake and not dreaming anymore. I felt relieved when I felt the pain in the pinch which meant I was not really dreaming anymore. And my right eye is blind again. It left another puzzle in my mind.

I called Mio as the last proof that I no longer dreamed.

"Mio." I called her, she then got up yawning as she rubbed her eyes.

"Nii-chan?" She answered.

"Let's go eat breakfast." I said to her as I messed her hair.

We got up together and went to the bathroom to wash and brush our teeth.

I felt relieved that I'm not dreaming anymore. And thinking that something was wrong with me because of such sudden events. Everything is weird and creepy.

The first one I saw in Chiaki-chan and in the eye, followed by a dream and again in the eye. I don't know what's going on but I think it both has to do with my eye because they both have occurrences about my right eye.

Again I tried recalling all the things that happened in that dream but I can't seem to remember it clearly like everything instantly got erased but the only image that remains is that girl with a faceless face with a creepy smile.

And lastly it feels familiar, but then I realized that I didn't notice the uniform of the students in that nightmare.
