Regret?

"Hmmm .." I groaned.

I opened my eyes, I was in the middle of nowhere again. It was in the middle of the darkness I had been to before. I feel like I was in the midst of blankness.

"I'm here again." The words that I suddenly uttered as if I had been here a few times or because maybe I was used to a little bit of what was happening to me.

I walked over and tried to find something that could be seen other than this darkness. Walk here, walk there wherever I look, I only see darkness surrounding it.

"Where am I really?" I thought to myself.

It was as if I was in a void of emptiness, and I was the only one here. Like I was astray in this blankness without me realizing it.

Eventually I heard steps that I thought were approaching me because every minute or second that passed the sound of those steps grew louder and louder.
