The military academy.

The following day, Dave awoke because it was already morning, got out of bed, stretched, and yawned, but as he thought back on everything that had happened and his new life, he was truly delighted.

He undressed before entering the bathroom to brush his teeth and take a bath.

While he still doesn't have much muscular mass, he noticed in the bathroom that his muscles have gotten more defined and toned, giving the impression that he has been working out for a long time.

Once more filled with joy, he started to flex his muscles and felt his abs. He said proudly, "I bet if girls see this, they will fall in love with me in no time."

He dressed after having a bath and asked the system for the day's work; he needed to level up quickly.

"Today's daily task system", he declared.

{Daily Task: As a werewolf, you must always be in shape}.

{Drink 25 liters of water.

push-ups: 0/50

Sit Up: 0/50

Meat consumption: 0/10 kg

Reward: 5 experience points}

"Although I am a werewolf now, I am still weak and powerless. I see, then, that by completing this quest I will be rewarded with experience points.

I don't even know if the meat is supposed to be eaten raw or cooked, so how am I supposed to consume a whole 10 kg of meat by myself? At the very least, let me finish the others first, "Dave responded.

{Daily task}

{water: 25/25, Push-ups: 50/50, Sit-ups: 50/50, Meat: 10/10 kg}

{Reward: 5 EXP}

"Men! I am full. In addition to the intense activity, consuming 50 liters of liquid and 10 kilograms of meat is not at all simple".

"Even though I'm out of meat, it's a good thing that cooked meat counts since at least it's worthwhile", Dave said before settling on his mattress to drift off to sleep.

There was nothing left for him to do after his high school graduation yesterday until he heard a knock at his door.

"Knock!!"

An unfamiliar voice shouted, "Open up!"

Yes, who's that? He sluggishly moved towards the door, trying to remember, but he was certain he hadn't given anyone his home address or ordered anything.

When he answered the door, an extremely buff man wearing army attire stood there staring at him with complete hatred written all over his face.

"The bus is downstairs, so you have a minute to get ready. "You are going to a military school, boy".

The strong man did not wait for Dave to respond before returning outside.

At first, Dave believed he had been discovered and was prepared to fight for his life or determine whether he had the means to survive.

Without the assistance of his new bloodline, Dave is certain that he would have passed out as the man was emitting an invisible, terrifying aura. Dave thanked the gods that it didn't happen.

He went into his room and packed his luggages, after he was done he went outside to the where the bus was parked.

He stepped inside and sat next to the window since the bus was full of students.

The majority of them he didn't know, but he was certain they were from other schools because some of them were his old classmates.

"You guys are going to the military academy, so don't make any noise along the way!" the muscular man commanded as he stood in front of the group.

As soon as he finished speaking, he motioned for everyone to sit tight as the bus began to hover.

When the green smoke was released into the bus, all of the students started to nod off, and Dave was among those who could resist the gas, but he was the only unblessed one who was knocked out alongside others. The man was surprised to see an unblessed attempting to resist the sleeping gas.

The bus trip took nearly 8 hours just to get to a portal leading to the school. The government made every effort to keep the academy secure and distant from the general population.

Despite the long travel, it didn't take them long to arrive.

The strong man said, "Wake up you sleepy heads and get your ass off the bus."

The hulking man yelled, "Get off the bus, you sleepy heads. Wake up! "

They all woke up still feeling sleepy as they got off the bus.

"When your name is called, line up and go through the gateway."

As soon as their names were called, everyone quickly lined up and entered the portal.

Dave was next. A lean man wearing a military uniform said, "Says here you're Dave Stark, ability none."

The personnel in charge of the portal all gave Dave a sorrowful glance, while the others treated him with contempt and ridicule.

"Little do they know, I don't care because I'm no longer the weakling I used to be," Dave muttered as he grinned in his head as he turned to face them.

The structures and amenities of the academy, which are like a city all by themselves, left Dave speechless as he exited the portal.

Along with the other man, the muscular one emerged from the portal. Observing the student's innocent response, he decided to explain.

He then questioned, "Do you all know why the military academy itself is a city unto itself, and do you all see that it's got everything you need?" He then responded to himself. "It's because you won't be able to leave the military without a mission from the school or world leaders, so once you join, you won't be able to go out freely."

After giving his explanation, the man said, "All right, that should be enough. You all should go into that building. "

Numerous pupils were present when they all walked into the enormous hall.

Dave remarked, "I believe they took other kids besides us."

Given his appearance and stature, the tall, average-looking man who stepped up to the podium was probably a high-ranking military officer. He had a handsome, well-built body.

Before saying anything, he regarded the students for a few minutes. "Good day to you all and welcome to the military academy where you will all be taught to be perfect soldiers and killer machines against supernaturals," principal Darwin remarked.

"Since the majority of you have graduated from high school, I know you might all be astonished when the military personnel knock on your doors, but you shouldn't be."

"When the full-scale fight started," the man said and added, "As you are all aware of the wars against the supernaturals, well, what you might not know is that we are losing and worse, we might get eradicated off the face of the earth if we are not prepared and get stronger than before."

The kids were terrified and burst into a roar, "W...what...what are we losing against the supernatural?"

"Are we not all doomed?"

"Are supernatural beings that vicious?"

The man at the podium noticed that the pupils were all muttering to one another.

Even though he muttered "Enough kids" gently, every student heard him and felt the energy his voice carried.

"You shouldn't be concerned," he told them and added, "because that's why you're all here, and we'll train you all to the best of your ability."

"I know that most of you want to get revenge on them for stealing your parents, relatives, friends, and land away from us," he said.

"Yes!" Except for Dave, who didn't care what the other students said because he believed he was no longer human—true, his parents were murdered by supernatural beings, and he intends to exact revenge—but there's little chance he'll ever fight for other people.

The man at the podium stated, "Ok, that's enough students," calming the crowd before continuing.

The smartwatches that were given to you guys are made with the newest nanotechnology and can be used to access certain things in the military, including passes, foods, room access, and classes you are assigned to. When not in use, they will automatically display your level, and with them, only in an emergency will we be able to watch over your movements. He paused to observe their responses, "but none of the kids responded," so he continued,

"Now those without abilities need not worry, for you guys will not be left behind when it comes to training, for yours will be more intense just to keep up with the blessed, and you guys' training will be more like a body tempering kind, such as absorbing cores which the school will provide, if you are seen worthy, you might also be given a compatible ability, so try and prove yourself to the school."

"Do you all comprehend?" he exclaimed.

The children yelled "Yes sir!" once more, but this time they were more assured.

Except for Dave, who simply maintained a serene demeanor, all the students spoke.

He continued by saying, "You can all retire to your separate domes and have a good rest, or you can take your time to explore the school or the streets," and then he gracefully stepped away from the podium.

While some students, like Dave, dispersed to tour the campus, others went to their domes.
