CHAPTER 51: ASSAULT ON MACROSSIE MANOR
Rashen walked through the doors of the headquarters,but he only found Macy and Gayle once he entered the dining room.He looked more exhausted than he felt. He didn't want to wake Cindrus up so he waited for her to wake up instead, unfortunately for him that took almost all morning. Once she did wake up he still had to wait for her to get ready. He offered to take her home for safety reasons but she declined. "What happened to you? Where have you been?" Macy asked in urgency.Rashen explained everything that happened yesterday. CHAPTER 50: COLD NIGHT
Despite her initial refusal and reluctance, the increasingly heavy downpour of rain changed her mind to the idea of sleeping at a motel with Rashen for the night.They were lucky enough to find one that happened to have been close enough to the restaurant. Rashen had to spend the remainder of his salary just to afford the night but he had no choice. It was a quiet walk up the creaky stairs to their room. It wasn't particularly big for the amount of money he paid but it would have to do for the night. It was a wooden floor with a single chair and a bed close to the window with slightly opened curtains. "Why do I have to share a room with you again?" CHAPTER 47: SINN ESTATE
The trio had left for the Sinn Estate as early as possible on Macy's request. Despite the fact that it was just before the break of dawn,they still managed to find a carriage that would take them there.Both Gayle and Rashen kept dozing off on the carriage ride and Macy kept having to wake them up. When Gayle dozed off again she slapped him awake in frustration. "Dammit Macy!" He exclaimed. "Stop dozing off! We're here on serious business." She said.
