Chapter 1. His last fight

The crowdy arena roared as the MC introduced Tyson Hike. Tyson Hike held the world heavyweight champion medal after various fights, and it had been so for the past months.

The second uproar from the crowd also shook the place as the opponent, Lauthel Kaul was been introduced to the stage. He walked with style as he had been doing. He looked so confident as well as his opponent.

Lauthel Kaul won many gold medals and was popular because of his philanthropic attitude and his love for his family. Lauthel came into the ring and smashed his boxing gloves together and sat at the edge of the ring, facing Tyson Hike.

“Folks! Are you ready for the big night?" The MC screamed. "Yessss" the crowd cheered and some whistled. The atmosphere was tense.

"Y'all have been waiting for the two big lion’s battle, which you're going to get to..night...t. If you're ready let me hear you say, Hell yeah!" the Mc said. "Hell yeah!!!" The crowd chorused.

Then the MC moved the microphone from his mouth and moved close to Tyson Hike asking “Are you ready for the big night?". “Yea, more than ever" Tyson replied with confidence.

After that, the MC moved out of the boxing ring and the referee came into the ring. The crowd cheered as they all knew the fight was about to start in a few moments.

The referee stretched his hands sideways, igniting the boxers to come up from where they were seated, drinking water and taking motivation from their managers and coaches.

The two boxers came up the ring opposite each other and faced the referee. The referee asked once more time “Are you ready?" The two men nodded positively as they started jumping, on their two feet and stretching their bones and muscles.

The referee lifted his hand as he made a slash with his arms shouting, “Start!” and the bell rang. He took a few steps away from them.

The two boxers crouched a little, guarding their faces with their arms. Hike threw the first blow, which hit Lauthel in the arms that he used to guide his face.

Laurel moved back, exhaling and peeping through his two arms, he noticed that Hike had loosed guard of his stomach so he hit him by the side. As Hike bent in pain and put down his guards, Lauthel gave him another blow in his face, which made hike loosed balance and staggered backwards.

Hike quickly gained back stability and swiftly made another attack on Lauthel. He got Lauthel in the cheek and some other parts and they both gripped themselves tight. Lauthel was bleeding from the mouth. The referee made his way in between them as he separated them.

The fight went on for a few more minutes. Later on, the bell rang for the end of the first round. They were both exhausted and they were panting the hell out of them.

"Oh!!! That's one hell of a fight there" the MC who walked up to the ring said through the microphone. He came up the ring and twirled to jeer the people with some jokes.

“Yeah, the lions gave us a bang," a man from the crowd, shirtless and bearded said as he stood up, holding his placard with 'HIKE THE LION' in his left hand.

~ AFTER 5 MINUTES ~

The bell rang again for the boxers to start the second round of the fight.

“His weak point is at his sides. Okay?" Henry, Lauthel's manager said to Lauthel's ear. “Okay" Lauthel nodded in response as tucked in his boxing mouth guard. He stood up and juggle his legs, and exercise himself, just as Hike did.

The referee made a slash with his arm and the bell rang, signalling 'start'. The fight started the second time and again, Hike threw the first blow and hit Lauthel in the cheek, Hike threw another and luckily enough, Lauthel dodged it and had a chance to hit Hike at his sides.

Lauthel didn't miss the chance and hit Hike continuously in his sides, which made Hike loose his stand and balance until the referee made a separation between them.

Hike had no chance of winning anymore since he was been spotted and had been hit more than he could bear. Lauthel’s heart danced as he saw himself at the peak of winning. He waited a few seconds for the referee to talk to Hike who seemed stressed already but couldn't give up.

The fight started again and with a grin on Lauthel's face, he walked in haste to attack Hike and in the process, loosed guard and got knocked down by Hike and the bell rang for the end of the second round.

“What happens there?" Henry asked Lauthel with a worried face. “I don't even know... Maybe... I can't even fish out a reason for that" Lauthel replied in confusion

"Oh, maybe you can't fish out a reason for that mistake. You should fish out a reason for winning this fight, okay?" Henry said and blotted out of the ring with anger. Lauthel bowed in disappointment, and the bell for the third round rang.

Hike stood up, obviously still not well-balanced as he wobbled when he stood up. Lauthel wouldn't miss this chance again, he watched Hike closely and moved towards Hike as he shook his head, to make sure his eyes see clearly. Lauthel moved towards Hike swiftly and again hit Hike continuously in his sides, and Hike slumped out of the ring.

After some minutes, of waiting for Hike to stand up and come up to the ring, he didn't show up and Lauthel was announced the winner of the fight. “Woaw!” he screamed in joy. Part of the crowd was disappointed while others were screaming in joy.

After the fight, he moved down from the ring and as soon as he step down, he was been crowded by Press members and journalists asking questions.

“Hey! Lauthel Kaul, how are you feeling? How does it feel to be the winner? Why was your family not present as usual?" journalists asked Lauthel.

“Uh...” Lauthel sighed then said, “I can't actually say how I feel right now, all I can say is that I feel good now because I am the newest heavyweight champion in the world. It is a great honour for me and my family”.

"Sir" another journalist called out, pointing his microphone to Lauthel's mouth. He was from the VBC station as it was written on his microphone “What do you want to say to your fans out there.”

"My biggest appreciation goes to my first biggest fans, --my family, they have always been there for me, especially my wife, Dyan. She gave her best to make sure that I make it into that ring and she still makes sure I eat well and observe my training."

He paused and drank a little water from the bottled water he was holding “I owe her a lot and I dedicate this medal to her” The people around cheered him as he spooks.

He laughed and continued “And to my fans all over the world, I appreciate your vote, your cheers, your support, your gifts and every other thing you're doing for me... Thank you all. Unfortunately, I can't stay for long because I have to go and met my family" with that said he made his way out as his guards paved a way for him amid the crowd.

‘They suck!’ he exclaimed deep down as he moved away.
