Karina got down from the car, looking exhausted for the emergency's Day work. It was almost time for Adam to have called her but she remembered that her phone had been on silent all these while.

She checked for any missed calls and saw none. Even her message folder indicated that there was no new message.

She dialed Adam's number to call him as she was walking to the living room.
