The three assistants retreated to their respective counters with unspoken complaints in their eyes while the woman stepped forward with a professional smile, her eyes now on Stuart and Noah. She was clearly the kind of person used to dealing with high-end clients.

The woman gave Stuart a professional smile, her gaze sweeping over Noah with a hint of approval.

“It’s a pleasure to see you again, Mr. Langdon. I am assuming this young gentleman is a guest of yours?”

Before Stuart could reply, Noah answered,

“Yes, I’m his nephew.”

Stuart quickly followed suit,

“Mrs. Corvette, I assured my nephew you would help him find the perfect piece for his wife.”

Mrs. Corvette’s eyes sparkled with pleasure at the compliment.

“Of course! Please, follow me to that counter.”

She led them to a more secluded area of the showroom, where they could browse in peace; Noah and Stuart took their seats at the counter.
