Leo groaned and looked away. He removed his clothes in a hurry, refusing to look at Draven even for a bit. Draven laughed, stretching his arms and pulling off his clothes. He knew his laughter would taunt Leo Draven opened his eyes. It was bright, too bright that he instinctively closed his eyes right back and tried to calm his suddenly erratic breathing. He had not died after all. This was good news. Or was it?He sat up and reached for his sword, then immediately heaved a sigh when he remembered that it had been stolen by Lara. Of course, Lara had taken it. He opened his eyes again, slowly this time. Leo lay beside him, snoring. He looked around and realized that they were back in the forest, but with the box of treasure. Draven looked at the box for a long time; he didn’t realize that he’d taken it with them whenever they fell into the earth. He stood up, stretched and then reached for the box. It was open and empty. When he peeped inside, there was a single wrapped pouch inside. It was the only thing inside the box, and Draven was understandably skeptical about opening it. After a while, he stiffly took the pouch out of the box and opened it. It was filled with sand.“What the heck…?”FortuneCraft in Apocalypse Task Completed...
Draven looked towards the uncompleted building. While he was checking his logs and whatnot, Leo was checking the place out. Of all the persons he expected to find, it was certainly not Lara. How did she come this way? If they followed the usual steps and methods, they would have been weeks behind and even lost her in the process. How did she come out so fast?As if reading the question in his eyes, Leo said:“Why don’t we capture her and ask her all these questions?”Draven nodded absently. “I thought she would still be inside the game, locked. I never thought that she’d made it.”“And with our properties, no doubt. For once, the game is on our side. They would not have taken us here if they didn’t want us to find our weapons.”Draven agreed with him. This was the work of the game, and nothing else. They’d suffered long enough, so it would seem like the game was trying to give them another sweet chance and opportunity that they shouldn’t let go of.“Come on,” Draven said. “Let’s go fi
“Don’t touch her!” Draven yelled, his hand in the air. “Please Leo, not yet!"Leo held the dagger in his hand, staring at Lara with a deep-set glare. He had forgotten all about his revenge; what he wanted now was to peel her skin back one by one until she confessed the truth to them.“Why shouldn’t I harm her yet?” he asked, glancing briefly at Draven. “You’re too soft-hearted, you know?“It’s not about being soft-hearted," Draven started to say, but Leo interrupted him.“You’re too soft man! This girl stole from us! She lied and used us and probably orchestrated her being there at that time!”“No!” Lara cried out. “I really was under there and I needed help!”“Oh yeah?” Leo sneered. “If this monster that was after you killed you twice almost immediately, why didn’t he come after you immediately? Because you cut your hair?” He scoffed with a laugh. "Yeah, right?"Draven moved closer to them. Lara looked desperately at him, and then away. Leo was in a very bad mood and he was ready to
“That was solved amicably,” Draven said with a smile.Leo scoffed, but said nothing. All he had in his mouth were words of insult and whatnot. They had walked a great distance away from the building Lara was in, and in silence. Draven had not said anything for the past hour, and neither did Leo. They both followed their The monster took a step forward, and then another. They moved backwards, towards the edge of the mountain. Draven looked back; there was no way they could survive that fall, and the monster was big enough to block their exit. It had fur for a skin, stretching far and wide that it could be mistaken for wool. If they cut down the beast and cut down its fur, it sure would make blankets for many seasons to come. The only thing was that the situation was inescapable and they would not be able to cut down the monster.“We have to run,” Leo murmured. “He’s pushing us back and he wants to grab us with his hands.”Draven looked back again. They were dangerously nearing the edge. He looked back at the monster, at the space between it and the ground. It was so small, so narrow that they could easily get crushed under it.“Not possible,” he said to Leo.Leo nearly cried out in frustration. “Why do these games have such large monsters anyways?"“We’ve gotten small trolls in our last two fights.”“FortuneCraft in Apocalypse Watch Out!!!
Draven woke up in his own sweat. Everything seemed disoriented for a second. There were loud noises all about, horns and ca
He spent two weeks in his house. Two good weeks. Draven didn’t know time could move so slowly until he’d spent a long period of time arranging his properties. The day he discovered his house, there was a mail in the mail box signifying him as the owner. The place was dead empty, and that was when he remembered he’d gotten a few properties, like chairs and lights and the rest. Draven spent a great time in the first week putting things in order. He tried as much as he could, but the house still felt empty. It was not that big a house. It was just a comfortable duplex that was supposed to make him feel at home. After all, he now had a roof over his head and a bed to sleep in, unlike the odd days of his life when he wondered what he was going to eat next and where he was going to sleep. He didn’t have lots of food either, but the neighbors have been giving him loads and loads to keep him up till whenever. His right hand neighbor was a family of six. The first day he moved in, they had wat
