They got to the site by midday the very next day. It was a long walk that encompassed less rest and less eating. Draven would have preferred if they walked by midnight and covered more grounds, but Leo was adamant that midnight was the only time he had to sleep and care for his wound.

“You’re healing nicely, you don’t need that much rest when we’re in danger,” Draven argued one time.

“I need as much sleep as I can get so I don’t fall ill and have you foster me again,” Leo replied.

He left him alone then; and it was true, he didn’t want to foster him anymore than he already did. All Draven was concerned about was covering more ground and getting to the place faster, and caring for Leo should be the last thing he wanted. For that, they drank as much water as possible, avoided any danger possible and walked faster than usual.
