Watch Out!!!

The monster took a step forward, and then another. They moved backwards, towards the edge of the mountain. Draven looked back; there was no way they could survive that fall, and the monster was big enough to block their exit. It had fur for a skin, stretching far and wide that it could be mistaken for wool. If they cut down the beast and cut down its fur, it sure would make blankets for many seasons to come. The only thing was that the situation was inescapable and they would not be able to cut down the monster.

“We have to run,” Leo murmured. “He’s pushing us back and he wants to grab us with his hands.”

Draven looked back again. They were dangerously nearing the edge. He looked back at the monster, at the space between it and the ground. It was so small, so narrow that they could easily get crushed under it.

“Not possible,” he said to Leo.

Leo nearly cried out in frustration. “Why do these games have such large monsters anyways?"

“We’ve gotten small trolls in our last two fights.”
