Chapter 27

Samara woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside the window. She groggily opened her eyes and saw that she was no longer in her own bedroom.

The room was unfamiliar, but it was cozy and inviting. She sat up and rubbed her eyes, trying to make sense of her surroundings.

As she looked around, she noticed that the room was decorated in a way that suited her taste. She couldn't believe it; she must have been dreaming. But then she heard a familiar voice call out her name.

"Good morning, Samara! Sleep well?"

Samara's heart skipped a beat as she recognized the voice. It was Jake, her long-time crush. She couldn't believe her luck. She sat up and looked over to see Jake standing by the door, holding a tray with a plate of pancakes and a cup of coffee.
