The woman narrowed her eyes as she stared at Archer just as he came out of the office.

Her mind worked fast to deduce what he was doing here, she knew she was right in assuming.

Archer unaware of the kind of thoughts the woman was having nodded politely.

"Good afternoon," he greeted.

The woman glared at him, "Shut up," she snapped.

Archer clamped his like shut, wondering what he did to deserve such treatment, he gave the woman a smile hoping it would satisfy her.

He moved to get out of her way but she blocked him, her ever-knowing eyes assessing him from head to toe.

"I was right," she mused.

"You were right about what?" he implored.

"I was right, you don't belong here and the only way you could have gotten a chance here is through that," she nodded at Madison's door.

Archer felt anger flare up in him at her words but he kept the smile on his face intact.

"The likes of me?" he asked.

Oblivious to the anger brewing in him, the woman kept talking with no care in the world.
