Chapter 23

Archer stood in the grand foyer of his family's estate, his eyes wandering over the furnishings.

He took a day off and with nothing left to do on this lazy afternoon, he turned to Gabriel, who seemed engrossed in his tablet.

Archer was so bored out of his mind. He felt accomplished when he was given the days off but now he was regretting it.

"Hey, Gabriel," Archer called, "Is there anything else going on today?"

"If you are that bored, go to the gym," he teased Archer.

"I should have gone to work. I am tempted to rip off my hair. Please tell me if you have anything going on."

Gabriel looked up, a mischievous grin playing on his lips as much as he tried to hide it. "Nothing much. But how about I show you the ropes of our family's business empire? It's about time you get acquainted with it."

Archer raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "I guess today is a good day as any. I might as well have the opportunity. Alright, lead the way."
