Archer looked at the two of them confused that they were making a fuss.

“You put the Barrington in jail?” Charles asked.

Archer sighed and turned to the man, “can I please get an officer? I am not comfortable with him,”

Charles frowned but the man just waved it away, “he is the best we have, I am sorry.”

“Okay,”

The man left them and Charles struggled with what to say.

“I owe you an apology,” he started.

Archer didn’t say anything and allowed him to stumble over his words because he was not making it easy for him at all.

“I am sorry that I judged you wrongly, it was unfair of me.”

Charles frowned, “are you always this difficult?”
