Archer made good on his word.

The next morning, he went straight to Madison’s company and into Benedict’s office. The man was bent over his desk reading something and mumbling to himself.

Archer was glad there was no receptionist to announce his visits so he snuck in to the office and leaned against the wall.

He wondered what got the man’s attention that he didn’t notice that someone was with him.

“Nice view,” he said.

Benedict shot up so fast with wide eyes when he saw Archer standing there, his face shuttered with anger as he glared at his visitor.

“What the hell are you doing here and how did you bypass security?” He demanded.
