"Thank you, thank you, thank you." Lola chorused in his chest.

"What did I do now? You finished the project. I should be thanking you."

"That's not it,"

"Then what?"

Lola looked up at Archer with a smile, "If it wasn't for you, the others wouldn't respect me the way I wanted."

"You got their respect because they know you deserved it."

Lola shook her head, that stubborn glint setting in her eyes.

"Everybody avoided me and talked behind my back. But thanks to you, they stopped."

Archer furrowed his brows, "I didn't do anything."

Lola pinned him with a glare, "Don't play dumb. I know that you warned everyone in the office."

Archer sighed as the memory hit him.

He had walked in to drop some files for the team leaders. when he overheard Lola's name being mentioned.

They were snickering and saying a lot of things that he should have left alone. It wasn't the first time and it wouldn't be the last.
