Broken Home

After sleeping for who knows how long, Alexia finally came out of the room. It seems that the sun outside is already so high, Alexia glances at the wall clock which shows half past twelve in the afternoon. Alexia rubs her head which feels throbbing from crying all night.

“Good morning and good afternoon, Mrs. Alexia! Do you want me to prepare a menu for breakfast or lunch?!” Lian called from the kitchen.

Alexia swings her unsteady steps closer to Lian. "Why didn't you wake me up, Li? It's already noon today. I've never been up this late," he whispered.

"Later, if I wake it up, it will sound impolite. By the way, are you going to the hospital today?” Lian replied while stirring the soup he was making.

“I don't feel like going anywhere yet,” Alexia replied.

"Yes, that's it, just take a rest until it feels better," said Lian.
