“Daddy…? Pa…! Mom, Dad is home, right?" exclaimed Nadira who immediately ran out of her room as soon as she heard her mother talking to a man in front of the door.

Jesselyn immediately flinched hearing that. Of course he didn't want Nadira to meet Daniel because he was worried that Daniel would say strange things to this eight-year-old girl. "No, honey!" Jesselyn replied while also calling out, hoping that Nadira would not approach her at the front door.

Jesselyn turned her face back to Daniel. His gaze was still as sharp as before. “Go you right now, Daniel!” Jesselyn said in a strained voice because she didn't want Nadira to hear the conversation.

Daniel didn't take his eyes off Jesselyn either. "I will not leave before I get an answer that Nadira is my flesh and blood," replied Daniel, still insisting on defending his opinion.

“How many times do I have to say it, Daniel? Nadira is not your daughter. Nadira is my and Reza's daughter!” Jesselyn snapped.
